We had an absolutely wonderful time!
The house was warm, cozy and inviting right down to owners original artwork. We had 8 people in our group - 4 adults 4 kids - Plenty of room for everyone. The craft room was AMAZING tons of things to keep EVERYONE entertained!! Of course the outside animals kept the younger kid's interests going. The owners were very communicative, easy going and attentive. Property very clean and well maintained. Will definitely return!!

Nice peaceful stay
This was such a great little farm house. Nicely decorated and comfortable! It accommodated us, our friends and their 2yr old. We loved the cows! They came right over to us when we went to the gate. Hosts were excellent and responded quickly when we messaged them. Wish we would have had more time here!

Good place for a nice and quiet retreat!
We have stayed at the serenity farm for 5 days for our family vacation. The house is very cozy and have everything you would need. Plenty of space (we were 5 adults and two kids). The playroom was a big hit for both my daughters (10 months and 3 years old), instead of watching the tablet they had a great time playing, doing puzzles together, drawing and painting. I am very grateful for having that space as it gave us some good quality time. My 3 yo had also a great time feeding the cows in the morning, we were every morning waiting for them to show up, bread ready in our hands!! the host were very responsive and very helpful, they even bought new baby gates as we told them we were coming with a baby!! In summary, if you are looking for some quiet in the country, far from the stress and noise of the city and enjoy some quality family time, this is a very good place to stay! we would 100% recommend this place.

True Serenity
Our family of 8 (6 kids who live with us plus our oldest daughter & spouse) spent a long weekend at this wonderful home and property! This home has tons of space with a formal dining room, formal living room, a den & a large craft room, a very well-equipped kitchen, and a lovely covered back porch where we ate most of our meals. The property is large with lots of outdoor space as well, including a fire pit & outdoor chairs we wanted to use, but sadly we got rained out the night we planned it. The owners also had bikes, fishing rods, & a craft room for renter’s use . (We took our own bikes & we didn’t have time to fish, but they are nice options for our next visit;). Several of our kids enjoyed painting “masterpieces” in the craft room. The property is so quiet and peaceful. The owners were exceptionally quick, pleasant, & responsive with communication. The property is also very close to lots of outdoor activities, including Paw Paw Tunnel, The Potomac River, and the C & O Canal. We went canoeing on & swimming in the Potomac, & walked and biked on the C & O canal. They were about 10-15 minutes from this property. With our particular family situation, an additional double bed would have been helpful since we had 2 couples & only one double bed, but otherwise, it was perfect! We did find true serenity there & fully enjoyed just getting away for a few days. We’ve already discussed possibly making it an annual family trip location. We would definitely stay there again! Thank you!!

Beautiful piece of property, lovely hosts! There was a playroom with lots of toys that kept the kids busy for hours. Big tire swing in the backyard, hay bales to run and jump on, and firefly catching at night. The owner even brought by extra fruit for us because she’s a caring and giving person. Would definitely recommend!

Highly recommend. So peaceful and homey. Craft room was a hit. Cows galore..we miss feeding them! Fun property and very picturesque. Wifi great.. air conditioning great. Cris, Maria, Larry..very easy to communicate and went out of their way to make our stay special. We went kayaking and fishing..shout out to Clyde's River Guides and Outfitter's (fb), hiking Black Falls, rode the Potomac Scenic Train, visited caverns, swam at Rocky Gap. So much fun and so much more to do! One week just not enough time, but happy for the adventure. Ty again! 😊

On a farm in rural America-Homey and roomy
The house is very roomy and the owners go beyond providing a clean house. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, pots, pans, dishes, spices, condiments and so much more. There are chairs to sit outside to enjoy the view or sit by the fire pit. The property is home to the largest sycamore tree we have ever seen. It is beautiful. The cows enjoy the day by getting in the creek and watching you - watch them. If you have children, there is a large craft room on the back of the house and bikes to ride outside. The AC unit works great. Water jug dispenser provided. The house is very homey and the farm totally represents country living in rural America. Owners are nearby and are available for any questions or issues. Everything was in ordered so we had no problems during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing and Beautiful Vacation Spot
Review written by my wife ( Dawn Jordan) We found this spot accidentally while looking for a place to stay near property we own in West Virginia. What a find ! I have always wanted a farm and now I know I can come stay at this beautiful location - and oh so serene . We enjoyed every morning and evening on the porch watching and listening to the cows and other wildlife. The home is very nice with lots of room and everything you could need for your stay and then some . The hosts have thought of everything. The beds were very comfy . I am very picky about places being clean and this place is immaculate throughout. We felt very much at home and cared about during our stay . We walked parts of the property with our dogs and they were in heaven having so much room to run about. I could seriously go on and on about Serenity Farm. We hated to leave . We felt very relaxed and enjoyed everything about this place . Every detail was CAREfully thought out to make our stay enjoyable. I can’t wait to tell my friends about this Greenspring Gem. WVa Farmhouse experience
Glad we found this little farmhouse in WVa. Our main goal was to relax and we did plenty of that. We also found some unique things to do like the Paw Paw tunnel, School house kitchen, Log Roll overlook, Francis O. Zumbrun Overlook to name a few. We fed the owners cows bread every day. 2 baby calves were born during our stay and another cow was pregnant and ready any day. You have to cross a very unique toll old bridge to get to the property that is privately owned since 1937. The house was very cozy and would definetly rent again if ever in the area.

Two parents, two kids, two dogs, all very happy
This was our first family vacation in over two years, and it was the best possible place for it. With a five year old, 18 month old, 7 year old dog, and 2 month old puppy, we couldn't have asked for a better location to get away and spend some quality time together. The house layout is great and there are plenty of beds to customize your sleeping arrangements. The rooms upstairs are large enough that we were able to bring our own mini crib and had room to spare. The kitchen is extremely well equipped for anything you might want to cook. The two different living areas were perfect. The porch had the most comfortable chairs I've sat in outside in a while, and had great views. My five year old absolutely adored the creek where she got to try fishing for the first time. She also got to feed the cows and made friends with the barn cat. There is plenty to do and see in the area with a short drive. Great fishing spots, nice little general store not too far away, the Paw Paw Tunnel well worth the drive to go see, and some great restaurants about 20 minutes away in Cumberland MD. We would stay here again without hesitation. We truly felt at home.
