We checked in around 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 5. We were on the first floor — Room 121. The room itself was fine. Where things went south was when the 2 large dogs across the hall in Room 122 began throwing themselves on the door to try and get out. This went on until just before midnight when I got up and looked for the night manager. We walked down the hall and heard loud voices in the room, and she knocked on the door, setting off the 2 dogs. A woman came to the door and the manager told them that they had to quiet down. While the voices did, the dogs continued to throw themselves against the door until close to 2:00 a.m. and started up again at 5:00 a.m.
We got up and were checked out by 6:00 because there was no reason to try and sleep anymore. The night manager apologized and provided me with (what I thought was) the hotel manager’s name, Dawn Vedenoff, telling me that she’d be in after 9:00. I tried calling 4 times after 9:00 and was repeatedly told that she wasn’t there and the desk clerk, a TRAINEE named Felicia, was there by herself and didn’t know if/when Dawn would show up.
When we got home later that day (September 6) I called Customer Service, telling them of our experience and were told that they would communicate with the hotel and to give them 2-5 business days for a response. I heard from nobody. I called Customer Service on Sept. 16 again, letting them know that I hadn’t heard anything from anyone. And I still haven’t!
