We have stayed here before and could not fault the property.
After renovations, it is now in need of serious maintenance - towels in bath and pool are old, fraying and stained, maintenance issues have been patched leaving mismatched colours and a poor job, outdoor table settings are broken and cushions contain mould, which is the same with the pool chairs and cushions.
Cleaning is a hit and miss affair. We had to call at 4pm one day to have our room cleaned, despite us being out all day and having a please clean room sign on the door.
Breakfast buffet is lacking. No ambience in restaurant area.
Ordered a toasted sandwich one day and despite going straight to our room, it did not arrive. Staff called after 4pm stating they had been trying to call me. They had not. I do not appreciate untruths. I was in my room the whole time waiting for my sandwich. After an hour, I knew it was not coming and just gave up.
Front reception is always busy and you have to walk through a wet and sometimes dangerously slippery area to get to it from the resort.
Staff are always amazing and super friendly. Wellness Centre was 10/10.
Disappointing that money won out with a block of apartments now built and the Wedding Pavilion and quiet area out the back now full of rooms.
So many things to fault now, where once I couldn't fault a thing. So disappointed.
It is close to transport, the beach, restaurants and clubs.
