A perfect base for exploring the area. York is half an hour or hop on the train at nearby Howden. Direct trains to Hull and Leeds. Guests from London have caught the train to Howden.

We are very spoilt for family days out too. Castle Howard, the railway museum and Yorkshire Wildlife Park are all favourites. Howden is 10 minutes away and has everything you need. Fantastic park, restaurants and bars. 2 dogs are welcome. Charges apply. We just ask they are not left unattended and to stay downstairs. Not in the bedrooms. There is also an outdoor run provided should you wish to use it.
