Average hotel with very thin walls. You can hear everything above you and on each side of the room. The beds are unsteady and repeatedly knock against the wall (the upstairs neighbor demonstrated this). Our room was clean and they have a decent self serve grab and go breakfast selection. It takes about 15 minutes from the hotel to the airport. Read the fine print of the hours of shuttle service operation- we unexpectedly had to find an alternative ride.

I’m writing to share my deeply frustrating experience with Larkspur Landing Renton Hotel, which unfortunately overshadowed what was otherwise an okay stay. To start, everything seemed fine at check-in, despite some minor issues with their system. The real problems began after I checked out. I had booked my 3-day stay through Expedia (paid in full) and had only needed to leave a deposit on my credit card, which I was assured would be refunded upon check-out. I requested a late checkout and was granted until 1 PM. I left around 12:30, returned the keys, and was told everything was in order. I assumed all was well until a few days later, when I noticed an unexpected charge of the whole stay (again) on my credit card. I immediately called the hotel, where I was informed that they had been experiencing system issues and that only the assistant manager could process a refund. Despite numerous attempts to reach the assistant manager—around 10 calls and an email—my efforts have been met with silence. The lack of communication and transparency is incredibly disappointing. It’s concerning that they are charging credit cards without clear explanations or effective customer service to resolve issues. This experience has been so frustrating that I feel compelled to leave this review as a warning to others. I hope the hotel addresses these issues soon, but based on my recent experience, I cannot recommend staying here.

Check-in was quick and easy, as was parking. The room was nice for what we paid and even though we didn't use the kitchenette, we saw that it was stocked with pans and dishes. The bed was really hard and the pillows were not very comfortable. The front desk was nice to give us extra pillows, which helped, but i still had a stiff neck in the morning. The tv was to the side of the bed, which was a little awkward but it was nice to have Netflix. The air conditioning unit worked great and kept us nice and cool. It would have been nice to have a retractable pull down blackout shade on the window. Most places I've been to have them and I definitely got less sleep due to the level of light in the room even with the curtains completely closed.

Needs an update
The hotel is a bit dated. The hall carpets and the flooring in the elevators needs replacement. The carpet is bunched up at a number of places (heavily worn) and tape covers many carpet locations throughout the hotel. In my room, the kitchen and the living/bedroom were clean and in good order. However the bathroom had a blinking overhead light, wallpaper hanging off the walls and the trim around the door had obvious water damage that someone attempted to repair but clearly did not know what they were doing. On the positive side, the room was clean and the breakfast was relatively healthy and covered all the nutritional requirements to get your day started.

Nice place to stay before flying out of Seatac the next morning. Good restaurants nearby. Water pressure in bathroom sink poor but good in shower and kitchenette. Bed comfy. Front desk staff freindly.

The hotel is very accessible, and parking is good. Our Hotels.com reservation was confusing however we enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable, and the front desk staff were all friendly. Loved the welcome cookie when you checked in.

This room must been vacant a long while and wasn’t cleaned before we stayed. Our last stay here, theee years ago was wonderful. Not this time. When I got in the shower, there was a dust all along the shower edge that you place soap etc. it made nice brown streams as I rinsed it. The room we had was run down and the bed worn out.

The stuffs were very nice and helpful. The rooms are very nice and clean. I left the charger in the room after checking out for 7 hours and they still kept it for me. I recommend you to stay in this hotel.
