The rooms were great. They were clean and they had everything we needed. The bar wasn't as good. We ordered a couple of mixed drinks which they got completely wrong. Luckily, I think they knew because they gave them to us for free. There wasn't parking right outside but I loved all the shops and pubs that were so close.

Great location. Attractive lobby with staircase. Poor restaurant service. Included breakfast very minimal. No I’ve unless you go ask at the restaurant where they snarl at you. No housekeeping for short stays unless you request on that day. Not sure if I’d return.

A mixed bag. Our first room was stuffy, slightly stale with no opening windows or aircon in early August. Fan provided to move stuffy air around. Spoke to reception and was moved to a room that had opening windows and room was in a better condition. Would have liked to make use of restaurant in evening but menu was impossible to locate.

Well located hotel right next to the railway station. We stayed one night before walking the Great Glen Way from Inverness to Fort William. The hotel met all of our needs and we were able to check in early.

Staff person at check in was rude. Rooms don't have air conditioning and couldn't open windows. A fan was provided. Beds were comfortable. Room was very clean. Hotel is dated but that's to be expected because it is historical. Location was great!

Quite possibly the smallest broom closet I have ever stayed in. Likely because I booked through expedia that we got the smallest room ever. The window would not open to let in fresh air. Very stuffy and warm at night, and thats saying a lot for Scotland.

Very bad experience in here
This was a first time to visit Inverness. Chosen this hotel because it’s convenient and saw the pictures that’s great in the web site. We checked in late and there was no any car park space. But I ask the receptionist and he said it was ok to park next to another car but not occupied the taxi waiting area, so far there was no any taxis at that moment. Unfortunately I got the memo with the bad words in the next day morning. If there was not available to park the receptionist shouldn’t allow me to park and I can find another car park. The water tape is horrible and not user friendly. I need to twisted my hand to wash. The room windows couldn't open it and I can’t breathe while sleeping. The main lobby is looking good. Looking like to visit the historical site.
