Easily accessible hotel with a very warm welcome. Lovely outlook from the lounge. Bedroom ok although the bathroom was a little small. Good choice for breakfast. Evening food ok. The hotel is a good 40 minute walk from Fort William so transport needed. Another coach stop-off hotel.
The common areas were better than the rest of the property. The bedrooms were quite dated dark and dank. Room smelt and was mouldy, very small with limited electrical points. The bathroom was very old and dated. The cost was far too high for the quality of the hotel.
As always a brilliantly stay. Staff are so welcoming and friendly. Which really makes a stay. Beautiful big room. Comfy bed. Always feel very safe as a solo female. Brilliant swimming and gym facilities. No complaints from me :) as always ... my number one stay when in the area. 10/10. Great value and always made to feel welcome. Thank you again :)

The staff were helpful, but the hotel itself was very average.
My room was very dated and basic, but the most annoying thing was that the window couldn’t be secured and it didn’t really shut properly either.
The staff that were available were lovely and worked hard. Just a pity there was only 1 barmaid on and a lively chap who carried our cases to our room for us and was also out tajing meals to diners and lifting all the empties. As it was a Friday night id have thought more staff woukd have been on as hotel was rather busy. I would stay there again though.
We stayed here twice, first time 2 nights on back side, beds were not comfortable & pillows were flat. Tile in tub area had what looked like mildew. Couldn’t get heat to work. Second time our room was water side, remodeled & fresh. Beds comfy, pillows still flat. Biggest complaint is no coffee in the morning in lobby if after breakfast. Said machine was broke. Americans are use to 24/7 lobby coffee. We asked, & was told after 11:30 when bar opens. The instant in room is terrible.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Very tired, way to expensive for what can only be compared to a Travel Lodge. Nothing like the photos.Certsinly not worth the cost. Currently covered in scaffolding as roof being repaired, the whole property needs a revamp
No shower gel in the bathroom, no face tissues in the room, room was not to the standard to the price charged. The hotel looked very pleasant and the restaurant area was great. Food was good but the rooms and the corridors did not live up to the standard.
Arriving very late in the dark and rain i couldn't see the hotel from the road so i phoned. Four times over 30 minutes i tried to phone. No reply.
When i found the place it was a building site so parking was hard, and walking to reception unlit. The receptionist was vacuuming with headphones on and i had to shout.
My room was scruffy and dusty, with flaking paint, but in the morning i saw that was true of most of the place. I was quoted £160 to stay another night. I'd used cleaner, friendlier, hostels for a week and paid less. Absolutely shocking standards.
When i complained i got pathetic excuses too.
Great service and friendly staff. Although the property is a bit dated, and is undergoing refurbishment this did not take away from our very pleasant experience.

Helpful staff, nice food, average room.
The stay was ok. The staff were helpful and the food was good. My single room was average. There was a lightbulb out in the bathroom and the below photo was my view from the window!! I understand that there were maintenance works going on and someone has to have the carpark view, but kind of dusappointing considering the view out the front and the room wasn't that cheap!!!
Individual rooms towards the back no view!
Mattress caved in carpets dirty and stained door lock malfunctioning. Shabby and covered in builders works. Not value for money.
Disgusting hotel with rude and arrogant staff
From the start of our arrival we were made to feel very unwelcome and the reception staff were rude and arrogant and made you feel like you should be grateful there was even a room available in their fully booked hotel (can’t imagine why it would be full with such an anti tourism attitude). Then we went to restaurant to be told if you haven’t booked then eat at the bar even though the restaurant was empty with many seats available. At the bar ordering the food that staff were also rude and very unwelcoming. For the price we paid - £150 per room - one would expect a much more friendly and welcoming atmosphere. To top it off the room was smelly like wet damp sea water or wet damp dog and we had to keep the window open all night. Disgusting hotel and I will never stay there again.
