It is ok if you are just going to stay one night.....like if you were driving to/from Florida and did not want to drive 12+ hours. First thing I noticed is the area around the hotel, specifically the lawn, looked like it hadn't been mown or even seeded for over a month (that's a guess). The carpeting is fairly clean, but old. The bed was clean enough and fairly comfortable.
The second big thing I noticed was while they had coffee cups in the room THERE WAS NO COFFEE POT OR ANY OTHER WAY TO MAKE COFFEE! If you wanted coffee in the morning you had to get dressed and go down to the lobby. I understand none of the rooms have a coffee pot.
The only Soft drink machine didn't work.....kept spitting my dollars out of the slot. Tried new bills, old bills, crumpled bills, it just wasnt' having any. I was told that there was a Publix nearby, and a couple service stations, but who wants to walk a hundred yards in that heat. I don' t walk all that well so it was out of the question.
The continental breakfast was adequate, no better nor worse that other hotels in the price range.
Like I said at the beginning, it's OK for a one nighter but I wouldn't want to stay there a week for example.
Not sure where this comment goes; but I have stayed at 2 wyndham hotels in the last year. Don't think I will be choosing Wyndham again.
