The place needs a drastic remodel. Everything old and no breakfast or coffee at6-9:30. Considering it’s old it does not smell well and even comforter was old. Recognized pattern from 90’s
The tub in our room was amazing post marathon, beautiful and historic, didn't experience any paranormal activity. Didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant due to people “camping” at tables. I was to tired to wait any longer after waiting for 15 minutes but the staff was great and very apologetic.
We LOVED the historic aspect of this property and our room! Yes; there are areas where you can visibly see the age of the building and rooms itself, but that comes along with renting a room in a historic building. The Tavern, drinks and food were AMAZING! The location of this property is perfect for walking, safe, reasonably quiet compared to other areas of the city, and we could not hear much from our neighbors despite being on an 'in between' floor/room. It was breathtaking seeing the detail in our room and the building itself. The staff were so nice, knowledgeable and accommodating for us, we are already planning another trip back and will be staying here again.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The property is in a good location and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Staff is inky there from 10-10 so when there was no hot water st 8am for showers there was nothing we could do. Also the room has a terrible musty smell I felt like I was breathing in mold the whole time. The room was nice otherwise and very spacious
This was a different lodging experience. A historic converted building so there is a lot of character along with very creaky floors and very thin walls. Some of the furniture is antique, so if you enjoy historic this is the place for you
This was my first time in Savannah and I’m so happy I found this old historical hotel. It has charm, and I love the history behind it. I heard great things about the restaurant. I was not able to eat there, but I did receive two free drinks on the house by the hotel. My flight got delayed and no one would be at the front desk due to the time, but they accommodated me and had someone waiting there with my key, I even got to meet the owner of the hotel. He was very kind and funny!
Definitely a one of a kind experience staying at the 17Hundred90 Inn. The staff was charming and helpful. The downstairs bar was a great spot and the whole building has that “haunted” historical feel that Savannah is known for. Of course it doesn’t have the amenities that modern hotels have but my room was clean and comfortable and the Inn makes up for it in charm.
