Check in was easy. Our room was clean & comfortable. We booked a room w/a queen pull out, however it was a double. Putting on the linens, the mattress pad was too small & sheets were too big. We used the pool & hot tub which both looked as though they hadn't been cleaned in quite some time (scum on the sides of the pool & hot tub). Back to the room to take showers, & there was absolutely no cold water at all. The shower was scalding hot! I like a hot shower, but this wasn't bearable. We ate dinner at the restaurant that was part of the hotel. There was only 1 person working the bar & restaurant area. So, service was extremely slow (not the fault of the server). The server was extremely friendly & helpful (they should have had an extra person there to help him). We had very low expectations, but were pleasantly surprised that the food was as good as it was. Got back to the room & contacted the front desk about the scalding hot water. They sent someone up who told us there wasn't anything he could do & would have to wait til tomorrow for a plumber. He offered another room & advised us to go to the front desk for the key. We didn't bother as we were all ready for bed. Next day toilets weren’t flushing at all (in the room or the common area bathrooms). At checkout I advised the front desk of the issues, he said he would have a manager contact me. I still haven’t received a call (our stay was 1 week ago today). Not at all what we expected from a Hilton.
