We visited Sapporo from 8/18/2024 to 9/1/2024, and stayed in 3 hotels. I am going to include 3 hotels in one review.
1. Tokyu Stay Sapporo Odori, 8/18/2024 - 8/24/2024: Nice location, 2 minutes away from Odori Station, 2 minutes away from Tanikukoji 5, and very close to Mitsukoshi, PARCO, Susukino’s shopping, dinning places and other commercial areas. Very friendly staff. English speakers. Spacious and comfortable lobby, offering coffee and tea 24 hours. Microwave and laundry machine (washer/dryer in one) available in our room, so convenient for people who stay for several days in hot season. We had a high floor and could see a little bit of mountains, but most of the Mountain view was blocked by a building next to the hotel. Breakfast was OK. Cons: the ceiling of the room was low. The toilet room smelled weird. The air of the room was not very fresh but the window was not allowed to open.
2. La’gent, 8/25/2024 - 8/30/2024: it was next to Tokyu Stay. The location was as nice as Tokyu. The window could be opened to get fresh air. Onsen was great, although crowded in the evening. The building temperature was set very cool so that guests felt very released from outside heat and humidity. The vanities surface and storage space in toilet room was bigger than the other two hotels. Our room window faced south and could see the Tanukikoji and Ferris Wheel. Breakfast was ok. Two public laundry machines on 2nd floor which were very busy most of the day
