The hotel is old, but that is not the excuse to be in poor condition. The wood frame of the room door was in bad condition, the bathroom has a huge drain on the floor, smells so bad that the bathroom window had to be open all the time, the toilet seat wobbles, the shower room has mould around. The hotel corridor was only lit by sound, total darkness if without sound, scary feeling. Also smells in the corridor. There was no exclusive guest elevator at all. The elevator was very small and slow, and shared with housekeeping. The front desk receptionist speaks little English, making communications extremely hard. We checked in at 6 pm but apparently were not expected. The front desk spent 15 minutes to find a room for us, unbelievable. We requested twin beaded room and were given a single bedded room in the beginning. Hotel is central location, however, one of the most unsafe areas of San Paulo. We learnt until getting there from the taxi driver who took us for the airport that crime rate was very high in that neighborhood. Police was seen on every street around the hotel. We traveled three weeks in central and South America, and this is worst hotel we stayed. If we didn’t prepay for 4 nights, we wouldn’t hesitate to change hotel. The worst hotel ever stayed.

Hotel to avoid despite good workers there.
The placed is dated (1950’s?) The door to the bedroom not secure. They lack a single iron and an ironing board in the WHOLE hotel! They don’t supply a bag for laundry, or something to shine shoes, a kettle, teas, hot chocolate, etc. You should think Motel 6 with sheets and a mattress a little better. The breakfast is kind of weak. Only papaya, pineapple, green melon and apples in a country like Brazil with such an array of fruits! They charge 6 reals $1.20 for a small bottle of water from the fridge. ($0.25 at a store). BTW… the water is so “special” that you can’t buy it out of the hotel and replace it in the fridge. The area around the hotel is skid row. Please avoid it at all cost. Don’t want around wearing anything of value. Our Uber driver was mugged at knifepoint -while I was a passenger- the mugger druggy took off with the cellphone that he yanked out of its base in the center of the console.

Boa surpresa o hotel Marabá. Tudo funcionando perfeitamente, atendimento cordial, bom café, localização conveniente para mim. A TV não funcionou bem, falta som, a imagem trava, etc. O hotel não facilita nem um pouco o check in antecipado, nem mediante pagamento. O saguão repleto de hóspedes esperando a hora. No geral, uma boa hospedagem.

Foram dois quartos até me hospedar em um quarto todo funcionando! Chuveiro fraco entupido Quarto sem blecaute ou seja a partir das cinco nem precisa chamar o galo! Era dia no quarto! Serviço de estacionamento deles é horrível ! De 20 a 30 minutos para o carro chegar ! Qualquer hotel de São Paulo que ofereça o serviço é quando demora muito 5 minutos ! Chego a conclusão que o empresário dono do estabelecimento sofre com a mão de obra! O problema do Marabá é a gestão que não funciona! Gostava do hotel,mas não volto nunca mais!

O hotel em si, é bom,o problema é a organização,no check in tinha dois apartamentos,e não tinham disponível e só me deram um,no outro dia arrumaram os dois apartamentos como na reserva paga,sendo que um dos apartamentos não tinha o blackout,ou seja,o quarto parecia que não tinha noite só dia,estava com carro alugado e o estacionamento deles demorava no mínimo 30/40 minutos para trazer o carro,então estava andando de táxi por que o carro não chegava no horário de meu compromisso Enfim,falta pessoas comprometidas com o hotel para que funcione,aqui não volto nunca mais ! O duro que tenho ainda mais 04 diárias que já tinha pago e agora tenho que ficar .

Já respondi anteriormente, nas tenho prazer em repetir. Hotel antigo, tradicional, porém, todo reformado nas partes que utilizei. Quarto amplo e confortável e completo com ar, frigo e tv novos funcionando. Banheiro TOTALMENTE reformado, amplo e de bom gosto. Cama , cobertos e toalhas em bom.estado e limpos.. Elevadores modernizados e café da manhã com buffets fartos, diversificados e além do que se deseja. Receoção de rápido atendimento e fisicamente amplo e bem posto. Por fim, localização ao lado do metrô República, na praça de mesmo nome, atualmente bem policiada, mesmo à noite, e bem iluminada. Não desejarei outra hospedagem enquanto houver bom custo benefício.

A estadia foi muito boa, o preço foi bem justo, eu voltaria com certeza. Tudo muito limpo e organizado. O hotel não é super novo, tem várias coisas que você olha e percebe que são velhas, mas não geram problema nenhum. Atendimento perfeito de todos e localização sensacional, rua bem central e com bastante policiamento. Pra finalizar, tem um pequeno estacionamento na calçada, assim, apesar da rua ser muito movimentada, é super fácil de parar o carro.
