We stayed in Carriage 51 - the condition of the room leaves much to be desired. From musty smell when you enter the room to dirty carpet and outdated and rusting fixtures. The leaking sink and standing water in the tub, and the shower head/fixtures straight out of 1980's puts the stay at far below sup-par. For the price we paid, it's not just a mediocre stay, it's so disappointing it would be a crime to pay or stay again. The lady at the front desk wasn't helpful when we reported these issues and just said she'll relay this to the manager. Of course we never heard back.

Our checkin staff was warm and friendly. We stayed in the coach house across from main hotel. Very nice, gated, pretty rose garden. We had room 62 on top floor. Spacious and clean. Once we gained access we didn’t need to go to main hotel, other than to pickup H2O. House cleaning service was great. Location was perfect. Hotel gave me free parking (think for ViP Expedia) and parking lot was SUPER convenient. Very good parking situation and lot across the street. We parked and took the eTrain everywhere to see other towns. We were visiting during off season so rate was acceptable. During summer the prices might be on high end. Overall we had a lovely stay and good experience at this hotel. No complaints at all.

This hotel has everything my family needs. We live in a remote area and have been flying out of either the Santa Rosa airport or SFO at least a few times per year. Either way, we stay at Hotel La Rose when we are embarking on a trip, just so that we can relax before the next leg of our journeys. We find this hotel very relaxing. We are so grateful for the parking lot, the food options, and the comfort of the hotel itself. We love hotels with a Victorian vibe, so this one fits our criteria. It is very central, convenient, and comfortable. If you're flying into or out of Santa Rosa, put this hotel on your itinerary!

I only stayed here for a quick overnight, late flight in and early flight out, just enough time to sleep, shower, and question my life choices. The place is straight out of the 1980s with the same carpet and a cloth skirt around the bathroom sink. It honestly felt a little haunted, like I might wake up to a ghost offering me coffee. When I checked in, I asked for toothpaste but forgot to grab it. Later I messaged to see if someone could bring some up since I was already in my pajamas, and they said I could come down and get it. So yeah, service isn’t exactly their strong suit. Everyone was nice enough, but no one here is going above and beyond. It worked for a few hours of sleep, but I wouldn’t stay again unless I was doing ghost tours.
