worst 4 weeks of any vacation I have been on. Horrible Host (Jorge Garcia).
When we arrived we could not get access the suite even though the owner had been notified when we were at the airport. Thank goodness the taxi driver stayed with us and continued to call the owner until a key arrived. Our patio door and all the windows on the floor were unlockable allowing anyone access from the courtyard to all of our possessions. We were basically unable to leave the dwelling without taking all our valuables with us.What kind of security is this for a rental suite? The windows and doors were eventually repaired by the maintenance man Alberto who was a very nice individual, and we had good service from him. When our guests arrived I turned on the A/C in their room and went to pick them up. When we returned from the airport, there was this awful stench in the room like rotting flesh and bad sewer mixed. The room was unusable. I contacted the host and requested that this be fixed. The host (Jorge) was not especially forthcoming with his willingness to make the repairs to the air-conditioner and seemed annoyed that we would find this unaceptical.The situation was never resolved, so the room was never used. Our guests had to stay in the far room, which had a window into the kitchen and another door that didn't close properly. So no privacy there.the furniture in the suite was dirty and old. No comfort there for such a stay. the owner was horrible and rude in most all interactions and we cannot recommend this facility to anyone with any standards.
