Everything was great except the employee at the check out. We didn’t check out online because we wanted to report a big leak in the bathroom. At the lobby, the employee pretended she didn’t see us, we had to call her and she come making the face of somebody unhappy and really annoyed. She didn’t even asked if we had a good stay. I told her about the leak, she didn’t ask any details about where, how… she just say she will send a maintenance men. Didn’t thank us for the information and with the same expressionless face, she told us the check out was done. Honestly, a robot would have done a better job. She shouldn’t be at the front desk if she cannot handle customers, particularly because we didn’t complain, we wanted to provide information to prevent a property damage. Besides her, everything was really nice but please, don’t let her at the customer service or train her to learn her job. She’s impacting the experience of our stay negatively.

Parking area difficult and unsafe for handicap persons. High curb makes luggage cart unusable. Shower slippery, chipped tub. Breakfast awful. Very awkward arrangement. I had one cup of coffee, it was about 10% grounds. How does that happen? No yogurt, very little milk. Night clerk friendly and cheerful, said I would get my printed receipt on checkout. Day clerk just said its in my email. No eye contact, no manners, evidently.

Carpets in room old and stained. Bath/shower hardware loose and malfunctioning - it was difficult to turn the shower off. Faucet on vanity leaked onto the counter when turned on and leaked down to the floor as well. Outlet device to plug in devices and usb cables did not work. Was unable to charge devices. Lights switches on both wall light fixtures were loose and difficult to turn lights on and off. Felt like a safety/electrocution hazard. Housekeeping g know led on my door 1 hour before checkout even with a do not disturb placard hanging on the door.

Breakfast was better than carbs&caffeine. Room was handsomely decorated, well equipped, good layout. Location provided many walkable dining options.Unfortunately there was a big black squishy insect in the bathtub, and several smaller ones on the bathroom floor. I think we smashed all of them; hope none left with us!

This is a much older hotel being valiantly run by a kind & devoted staff. Below is one of the highlights of my visit . . . Today, the morning of my checkout, there was an amply-stocked breakfast with all manner of hot and cold foods -- from egg omelettes to cereal and yogurt to hot waffles. That being said, it is BADLY in need of a serious renovation, as it wears all the marks of its history . . . Everywhere one looks there is chipped paint on the doors and door frames. The concrete sidewalks, stairs, and decks are filthy and in dire need of power washing. Litter and cigarette butts are everywhere, and have worked their way into all of the once lovely rock garden landscaping's crevices. And although now too cold for a swim, I noticed that the pool has a thin layer of green algae clinging to its sides. The vending and ice machines nearby are either abandoned or out of order. Lastly, while convenient, the hotel is not located in the best of neighborhoods, with many police sirens punctuating the night . . . The evening of my stay, at 3:28 am, I was awakened by an emergency alert from one of my AirTags which had been recently disturbed. At first I thought it was a strong gust of wind, but the air was still. Apparently a transient I spotted cutting through the lot was rattling car doors looking for items to steal. On my way out the door, I noticed from some dated paperwork that the hotel once rented for as much as $300.00/night. Sad how things have changed . . .

This property was not clean. There were mold in the bathroom, the toilet seats was broken, the bathroom floors were halfway cleaned, and the door hinges were full of rust. In addition, there were stains all over the carpet. I ended up purchasing Lysol cans to disinfect all the counters and the bathroom. The front desk staff was friendly, they did not replace our towels etc. until the fourth day. I really did not like my stay; however, we booked this place to attend the hot air balloon festival and most of the hotels were booked. We did book 5 months in advance. If you are planning to attend the hot air balloon festival, I suggest you book elsewhere.

Unfortunately, the images online do not match the reality of this hotel. When my friend and I checked in, we asked if we could have adjoining rooms. The staff member said he would try to make something happen, and even said that he’s going to provide us with an “upgrade”. We thought to ourselves if this is the upgrade we stuttered to think what the alternative would’ve been. I myself am a Wyndham rewards member and wasn’t even acknowledged or welcomed with that. I would bypass this hotel and look for a boutique hotel further down the road.
