The hostal has two wonderful gardens, one which is used for breakfast. It was an ideal place to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds. The airconditioning ih the room worked well so we were quite comfortable. The staff were very helpful, even making us sandwiches to take when we left. Breakfast was good with lots of fruits and juice.

Hostal Francisco is a beautifully restored traditional property. We had a lovely large and comfortable room. The communal areas are very attractive. We had a friendly welcome. The location is great, within easy walking distance of all Santa Clara's main attractions

during our travel in Cuba the Casa Francisco in Santa Clara has been the most beautiful casa we have been. We stayed for two nights and everything was perfect. The host ist very friendly and helpful. The house is beautifully kept, with a court with many plants and terrace to sit and eat.The house is located in the city center and all points of interest are within walking distance. we highly recomend this casa

Wir waren zu zweit in der Zeit vom 11.03 - 14.03.2019 im Hostal Casa Francisco in Santa Clara / Kuba. Von auƟen unscheinbar, ist es im inneren wirklich schƶn. Die Gastgeber sprechen nur spanisch, sind jedoch absolut herzlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Trotz meiner fast nicht vorhandenen Spanischkenntnisse sind wir gut zurecht gekommen. Die Zimmer und BƤder, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Klimaanlage, Fernseher, Minibar sind vorhanden und Wifi mit Abstrichen auch vorhanden. Die Matratzen der Betten sind auch vernĆ¼nftig. Der Ort selbst bietet sich fĆ¼r alle Touristen an, die etwas Ć¼ber Kubas Geschichte und die tatsƤchlichen LebensverhƤltnisse erfahren mƶchten. NatĆ¼rlich ist dies auch in anderen Orten mƶglich aber Santa Clara ist fĆ¼r die Geschichte der Revolution unter Fidel Castro und Che enorm wichtig da hier eine wichtige Schlacht geschlagen wurde. Der MilitƤrzug, DenkmƤler, Museum, Plaza de la Revolucion und das Mausoleum von Che kƶnnen hier besichtigt werden. Auch das Cafe Revolucion mit tollen original SchriftstĆ¼cken/Utensilien Che's, die Tabakfabrik mit ZigarrengeschƤft auf der gegenĆ¼berliegenden StraƟenseite, das Restaurante El Gobernador (GeschichtstrƤchtig), Parque Vidal mit Theater etc. und das La Bodeguita del Medio (in welchem absolute Topstars aus Kunst, Sport, Film, Politik bereits waren/siehe Bilder an den WƤnden) sind einen Besuch wirklich Wert. Ich gebe eine klare Empfehlung fĆ¼r das Hostal Casa Francisco! Vielen Dank an Maximo Gomez und Luis Estevez!!!

Eine Oase der Ruhe im Gewimmel von Santa Clara
Wir haben am Anfang und Ende unserer Cubareise einige Tage im Casa Francisco verbracht und uns dort wie zu Hause gefĆ¼hlt. Das Highlight ist der wunderschƶne Patio, in dem wir morgens gefrĆ¼hstĆ¼ckt haben und in dem man sich auch tagsĆ¼ber und abends zwischen grĆ¼nen Pflanzen entspannen kann. Francisco ist ein hilfsbereiter, sympathischer Gastgeber, der auch SonderwĆ¼nsche unkompliziert berĆ¼cksichtigt.Auch seine Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und offen. Die Zimmer waren sauber und mit KĆ¼hlschrank und Safe ausgerĆ¼stet. Das koloniale Ambiente des Hauses war eine Augenweide. Nachts war es trotz Innenstadtlage angenehm ruhig. Wir kommen jederzeit gern wieder.
