Wine Valley Inn is a nice choice for families and is pet friendly as well. There are room choices for couples from standard rooms with queen/king beds, to cottages for a more romantic and private stay. The property is adjacent to the local shops and restaurants, and everything is quite walkable. Personally, I would skip the breakfast near the reception. You can do much better outside. But the staff are fine. They are generally pleasant and helpful. Prices of course fluctuate, but are average with similar hotels at this level.

The hotel is located in the heart of solvang and very confident to walk around and see the small city. The hotel itself is ok, mediocre. It’s just alright, you get what you pay for. This was my second stay at the hotel. There was construction going on right next door that started at 7am which was annoying. I was also annoyed that I asked the receptionist as i was checking out to send me my bill via email and they never did.

The exterior of the hotel is very nice from the street, well located. We had 2 spacious rooms, with very small windows, lack of natural light, lighting in the room was not enough. No desk to use our laptop. Lack of outlets, so needs to upgrade. The breakfast was very very basic, and not Danish style as we expected.
