Also in the area is the Trans Canada trail, which is great for ATV’s, dirt bikes or Side x Sides. The trails will have you in awe at the picturesque views. Check out the local Ukrainian heritage museum right in town. Experience the Ukrainian culture of this small town. Every summer in August Sandy Lake’s Western Days are a highlight of this small town with great Ukrainian cooked meals with town wide events taking place. A classic parade, and to top it off fireworks on the lake. Sandy Lake is a situated in the R.M. of Harrison park on the edge or Riding Mountain Provincial Park. A short 20 minute drive to Clear Lake. Enjoy stunning sunsets or catch the northern lights in the night time sky.
