Very good value. In the summer months it might be a little hot. There’s only a fan, not air conditioning. There are also stairs to access the property. Otherwise everything is just fine.

Staying here was such a wonderful experience. From the moment we entered the reception are we felt like we were a beloved family member. This was a great room for the price. It's not in the same building as the main hotel, but it's just a short walk away. There's no AC, but with a fan the room stayed a comfortable temperature even during hot summer days and nights. I'd definitely stay here again.

Ou seja, prepare-se para subir e descer com as malas. Check-In: É num endereço diferente da reserva! Então você ficará perdido. Esse item deveria ser destacado na reserva mas nao é. Vem uma observação muito pequena a respeito. Insistência em fazer upgrade de quarto: vc é quase "coagido" a fazer o upgrade. Sensação terrível! Nao querem te mostrar o teu quarto reservado e insistem em que você veja o quarto superior. Desnecessário! BOM: ==== Quarto: tamanho bom, cama boa e quarto estilo toscano. Café da Manhã: Excelente! La camera si trova in una antica dimora a due passi dalla colleggiata. I soffitti in legno e i pavimenti in cotto toscano hanno un fascino intramontabile. I muri spessi permetto il comfort anche senza l'aria condizionata.

Abbiamo pernottato per due notti nelle Dimore del Capitano, una struttura con camere diffuse nel piccolo e splendido borgo di San Quirico d'Orcia. La camera era molto bene arredata, e il bagno interno decisamente ampio e completo di tutto. Purtroppo al posto di un letto matrimoniale abbiamo trovato due letti singoli uniti, molto scomodi per una coppia. Non abbiamo fruito di altri servizi, complessivamente il giudizio è molto buono.

La villa del capitano è molto carina e curata nei particolari. L'ambiente è tranquillo e pulito. Non è ben segnalata la sua ubicazione, ma essendo San Quirico un borgo piccolo basta chiedere se non lo trovate facilmente. Sicuramente da consigliare

Non è un hotel come riportato in prenotazione
Situazione assolutamente arbitraria viene venduto come un hotel 4 stelle, nella prenotazione si legge dimore del capitano hotel diffuso con le suddette stelle, in realtà è una depandance, una sorta di B&B, con delle caratteristiche molto lontane dagli standard degli hotel. Non c'è l'aria condizionata ma solo un rumoroso ventilatore portatile, e le finestre sono senza zanzariere. Se fa caldo si dorme malissimo. Non c'è neanche il frigo bar, l'acqua poggiata sul tavolo era un brodo. Infine ci sono le sbarre di ferro nelle finestre e non ci sono le vie di fuga in caso d'incendio.
