Mi reciente estadía en el hotel ALOFT San Juan fue una experiencia agridulce. El hotel tiene una ubicación espectacular en el centro del Distrito T-Mobile, lo cual es muy conveniente para acceder a las atracciones y actividades cercanas. La decoración del hotel es moderna y atractiva, y la habitación que me asignaron era espaciosa, acogedora y tranquila, ideal para descansar. Sin embargo, hubo varios aspectos que empañaron mi experiencia. Desde el momento en que llegué, noté un olor a humedad en los pasillos, lo cual es un problema que debería abordarse. Al llegar al baño, descubrí que había moho en el área de la bañera, lo cual es inaceptable para un hotel de esta categoría. Además, las sábanas eran ásperas y las almohadas dejaban mucho que desear en términos de calidad. Otro aspecto que me decepcionó fue el desayuno. Parecía ser un producto precongelado, lejos de las expectativas que tenía basadas en mis experiencias previas en hoteles Marriott. Aunque me ofrecieron un voucher de $35 y dos bebidas de bienvenida como parte de mi estadía (obsequio), no pude disfrutar de las bebidas ni la comida, ya que el bar estaba lleno y no había empleados disponibles las dos veces que intenté usarlas. En resumen, aunque el hotel tiene un gran potencial y una localización privilegiada en el Distrito T-Mobile, hay detalles importantes que deben mejorar para estar a la altura de la marca y ofrecer una experiencia realmente satisfactoria.

Very convenient location in San Juan’s T-mobile District, which has the PR Convention Center next door and other hotels nearby, plus many restaurants, bars, a concert venue, giant video screens, a movie theater, and a zip lining venue. And the hotel is quiet even though it’s in this area, clean, comfortable, with a modern European look, and a friendly staff. Plus it offers goodies like two complimentary welcome drinks, a $35 credit at the bar, and a complimentary shuttle to Old San Juan and Escambrón beach. Overall a very nice experience.
