Solo Trip
I traveled alone to Costa Rica. I had booked the taxi service a week in advance and had a confirmation sent via email, but when I arrived at the airport, no one was waiting for me. I had to call the guesthouse and they immediately sent someone to pick me up. It was about a 15 minute wait time. The hotel staff was very friendly and helped me book tours in advance. They also were very helpful in giving me walking directions. My room was very clean. The shared bathrooms were clean most of the times. Usually if I got in late the bathrooms were a bit dirty. However, I took flip flops and used the shower without problems. They provide soap and towels; all other items must be taken by you. The area looks a bit shady but you can walk without problems. Overall, it was an amazing stay for my solo trip.

It is a good place to stay for safety and economical. I stayed two different times first room was good the room on the bottom not so great but good enough for a overnight stay. I think they needed a new mattress felt uncomfortable.
