I stayed here on a quick trip for two nights. Overall my expectations were met as the room was clean, check in was quick, and you can tell the hotel was recently renovated. The big issue was the shuttle. I called to tell the front desk about my arrival and was told the shuttle would be there in about 10 minutes. I stood waiting at the airport shuttle area for 20 minutes and no one came so I called again, and they said oh thats so weird the driver should be there any minute he definitely left, just keep waiting. Another 15 minutes go by so I called again and this time the front desk concierge said oh sorry there was a shift change, let me send the new driver. I said what?? So one of your drivers said they were coming and they just flat out didn’t due to shift change, or you lied about actually speaking to the driver. And why didn’t you already send the new driver when you knew I’ve been waiting here for 35 minutes? So another 15 minutes go by and still no shuttle shows up, a Hilton driver had already gone to drop people off at their hotel and came back TWICE, so the third time of seeing me as the only person standing there he offered to just give me a ride since the Sonesta is next door and I said yes. I had to get dropped off by a competing hotel driver because he felt bad for me, I informed the front desk no one ever came to pick me up, and they could not have acted less concerned. I got a quick sorry to hear that with an attitude.
