Just had a lovely one-night stay at the Parker Guest House in San Francisco, conveniently located just one block from Dolores Park. The innkeepers are wonderful and friendly, the room was comfortable and the bed and linens luxurious. The continental breakfast offered in the morning was plentiful and varied and delicious (and they were cool with me taking another breakfast to go for my plane ride back to the East Coast)! I didn't get a chance to sit in the beautiful garden or partake of their wine in the late afternoon or brandy anytime in their living room with the fireplace. I'll just have to do that on a return stay!

The location is great if you are visiting this area of SF and the Inn is a wonderful place all around. Highlights include beautiful outdoor space, gorgeous flowers and touches all over the house, great breakfast and happy hour. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms well equipped. We will definitely be back.

An oasis in the hustle and bustle of San Francisco! The staff had the highest of Hospitality Quotient as we felt like family upon arrival with a spread of local wines and a charcuterie board. We loved our tiny room nestled into the basement and while we shared a bathroom, it wasn't too much of a bother, as there was another one upstairs if ours was occupied. Oh and did I mention the morning brunch? Delicious pastries, fresh juices, coffee, and cereal. We had it all (and quite honestly didn't want to leave even though our next destination was wine country). I will mention that our room was on the main street and the street cars dinged all night, so if you're a lighter sleeper you might want to request a room away from the street. With all the said, what a marvelous stay! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

A Retreat in the Heart of San Francisco

My recent stay at the Parker Guest House was truly the highlight of my trip to San Francisco. Having just stayed there last week, I can confidently say this charming establishment is a genuine hidden gem, offering a warm, personalized experience that simply cannot be matched by standard hotels. From the moment I stepped inside, the atmosphere was instantly inviting. The historic Victorian architecture is beautifully maintained, blending classic elegance with modern comfort. My room, in particular, was spotlessly clean and served as a tranquil retreat after a long day of sightseeing. Waking up and having my morning coffee in the peaceful, lush garden courtyard felt like a little slice of heaven. The staff's hospitality is what truly sets Parker Guest House apart. They were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready with a smile and excellent recommendations for exploring the Castro and Mission districts. They made me feel less like a guest and more like a cherished friend visiting their home. The complimentary breakfast was a delightful start to each day—fresh, varied, and served in a lovely dining area. It provided a perfect opportunity to meet and chat with other travelers, enhancing the communal and friendly spirit of the house. If you are looking for a place that feels authentic, comfortable, and beautifully situated in one of San Francisco's best neighborhoods, look no further than the Parker Guest House. Clean, beautiful, safe, and gated!

The location is perfect. Very clean and safe neighborhood that is in the middle of several desirable districts. But the best part of this place is the beautiful gated property. So well kept, the garden was very well manicured. The continental breakfast was adorable. I really enjoyed the quietness of the bnb. Lastly regarding location, nightlife is very walkable but not close enough to where you hear bar activity.
