Staying at this hotel is wonderful we enjoyed it so much! The staff was amazing from check in to a simple continental breakfast. Coffee tasted amazing water available when you arrived. We were around great food and everything was convenient to walk too. Had an amazing time and enjoyed our stay.

The hotel and staff were amazing, very accomodating for an early check in and taking care of my luggage. The room was very clean and amazing, The smell around the outside of the hotel was horrible as there were literal open bags of trash and unhoused people urinating and defecating literally 15-20 feet away from the front door. It felt unsafe, although nothing physically or verbally happened.

Convenient to Union Square in Tenderloin
The staff was very friendly and allowed us to check in slightly early. The location is very near Union Square and very convenient. There was a coffee and tea stand just off the check in where breakfast was served and all guest were offered a free glass of wine if they liked. Coming from New York, we understood the challenges the hotel had and appreciated their efforts to make guests comfortable!

the hotel is good, clean, unfortunately they do not have air conditioning, although the city at night is cold, you could sleep with the window open, but the noise, the music from the homeless people surrounding the hotel is HORRIBLE, and obviously you have to close the window because they do not let you sleep and the heat traps you, they have a fan, which does not work well, the breakfast should have more variety, you do not ask for a continental, but more variety of bread .. in the reservation they never mentioned a deposit and I had to leave 100 dollars that I hope they return to me, the good thing is that it is almost close to everything, but I would not stay there again!

The hotel's proximity to Union Square, the Powell St. Station and cable car, and Market St. in general is both an advantage and disadvantage. The main disadvantage is the noise around that area, often lasting well into the night. The other slight discomfort during our stay was that the city was experiencing higher than average temps and the second floor where we were was sweltering with no AC in the units. A fan had been supplied which helped some. Other than this, our stay was pleasant. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and attentive, and the amenities were perfect.

The room was beautiful. What I wanted was a microwave and refrigerator because local food choices were limited and costly. The continental breakfast was very lacking. No juice. No toast. No eggs or waffles. A VIP property should at least have that. Otherwise the stay was pleasant. I would go back for a slightly lower rate...$90 per night.

This property was nothing like advertised, I was very disappointed. People were fighting on the corner and threatening to kill each other. I got the hotel 14 minutes away from the convention center that way I can walk and experience the city but after the first day of being there and the fight was on the corner and that was trying to walk through I knew then it was unsafe for me to do any walking this is definitely should not be in your listings it was nothing like the pictures that was no resturant a very very limited bar with only one and the staff was not friendly at all
