This was an absolute throwback to yesteryear of San Francisco. The hospitality and decor was so nice. The complementary cookies and filtered water, as well as candy and such in the rooms, were all really nice touches to what was an over-the-top experience.

Close to EVERYTHING!
Staff was super helpful and friendly. Big space (suite), nice hot shower, comfy bed. Only improvement would be to replace the carpeting (carpeting is gross in general). Loved the cookies and the popcorn. Took Waymo - super fun.

Great stay for a great price
I come here annually with my sisters on Black Friday and have found their service to be warm and kind. Beds are comfy. Rooms are small, but all that we need. Can’t beat the location for the price.

A nice historic hotel with large, spacious room and bathroom. Staff was friendly, and the hotel has a complimentary fruit, cookies, and water in the lobby for guests. There is a small bar which is open Tuesday thru Saturday, and the hotel gives a 2 for 1 drink voucher for guests. Great location that is close to shopping, restaurants, and public transportation. Overall a wonderful stay!

This is a quiet boutique hotel that doesn’t have all the amenities of a larger hotel but due to its location that is convenient to food & shopping the fact that it’s quiet “low key” is a bonus. I love the lobby area, free cookies & coffee & small bar area. It’s exactly what I need when I’m in the city.

The property has an unbeatable location, within 3-5 minutes from the Santa Monica Pier. However the hotel is small and at least my room was very small, especially the bathroom. The staff was helpful.

The room doesn’t have AC and we got the top floor - very hot. Even with fans on and the window open. The room and bathroom were good. The bed was comfortable. The best thing is how close it is to Union Square and all the shopping. If you come here get a bottom floor, heat rises.
