The stay was great. They let us check-in early. The bartender in the bar was really friendly. First time here and will definitely return. It's very convenient to everything in the Gaslamp district
The stay was fine for one night. Staff was very nice, we got two free drinks at the bar next door. The room was just very small, no fridge and had a strange smell.
Vincent is great! Gave us great ideas of where to go and what to do. Rooms are quaint and cute. Very clean and quiet. Fireplace didnt work, which was a bummer but no biggie. Walking distance to Petco park. Very safe area. Tons of eating within walking distance. They have in and out valet parking for a price. Everyone is so nice.
Immaculate room and common areas. Very friendly staff; answered questions with a smile, delivered needed items to room quickly.
Loved the historic charm which was preserved so well.

I understand it is an older hotel but it lacks convenience of the 21st century. No room service was the biggest let down.
First time in San Diego, and had a great stay here! Very clean outside and walking distance from tons of great restaurants and cool places to visit. Hotel room was very clean, and had vaulted ceilings which made it very comfortable! Mr. Ivey and the rest of the staff were also fantastic! Will visit again!

Ok
Hotel was cute on the outside, inside smelt good love the smell they used, inside lobby very beautiful and the courtyard with trees was pretty. Our room very small as well as bathroom, no counter space the towel rack was broken. Patio was cute and small over looking the city slightly and the courtyard with trees. The area is good if you are going there to party downtown. I didn’t realize we were right down the street from gas lamp so it was loud and a bunch of drunk people walking down the hall loudly at 2 am.
