This bright and breezy beach bungalow whispers "summer" all year round and is a short walk to beaches, shops, restaurants, and weekly farmer's market (Wednesday). Your home away from home lends itself to a relaxing and fun visit, vacation, or extended-stay in the youthful and energetic city of San Diego.

This home features a designer's touch, smart space planning, abundant light, and is tastefully furnished - offering all the elements of classic coastal living, inside and out. The Garden Cottage features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and will sleep up to 4 guests for true hospitality.

Relax and enjoy the private and gated rear courtyard with comfortable loungers and hammock. Front porch offers outdoor dining, and garden and sunset views. A spacious open living room includes 43" flat-screen smart-TV, and complimentary high-speed internet, WiFi and Netflix. The bedrooms are super-comfy and bed linens are plush and cozy. The kitchen offers dining for 4, stainless steel appliances, and fully stocked for today's cooks and family meals. Other amenities include:

There were a few issues with the property. The front door lock had some issues and one of the bedroom windows wouldn’t stay open. Also there is some chipping in the bathtub. Manager was very communicative but I wish those things had been fixed.

Garden cottage was the perfect spot for our short stay in San Diego. It was charming, clean, and had everything we needed to guarantee a relaxing stay. Wonderful property
Property was great! Comfortable, cozy and had everything we needed. Washer and dryer took a long time to do a load of laundry but got the job done nonetheless. Rodney was responsive to texts and offered up suggestions on dining when asked. No grill or fire pit like listed unless it was tucked away where we didn’t see. Wasn’t important enough to ask about though. Didn’t impact our stay. Ocean beach is nice but it’s a little drive time wise to the nicer beaches for families. Would stay again for sure!

We stayed as a family of 4 and enjoyed the abundant space inside and outside the Farm House. Rustic charm aplenty. Easy to get to and from, whether you come from SLO or Pismo Beach. We had one request during our stay, and Chris the property manager was very responsive. Definitely would recommend a stay at the Old Edna Farm House!

Amazing Host and Fantastic Location
Rodney is the best host I've ever worked with! He is responsive, helped address every concern or need, provided local recommendations, and even helped us after our stay when our travel was delayed due to weather. The house is great :) It's exactly as pictured and we really enjoyed how bright the space was. We were withing walking distance of nearly everything and even had a view of the water. Super happy to have stayed and we will definitely stay at one of Rodney's properties again!

Beautiful, cozy cottage by the Sea
This cottage was cozy, clean, and smartly furnished. Our family enjoyed the short walk to Sunset Cliffs and OB. We ventured out every day early to enjoy bagels and coffee in town or breakfast and to enjoy the beach. The grounds were a succulent paradise and everything felt zen. Our family will remember our time and memories made at the cottage for years to come!

Great little beach cottage
We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy beach cottage. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well appointed. The outdoor space was nicely kept and perfect for lounging. The house is located a short walk to the seaside cliffs -- a perfect spot to take in the views of the ocean or get in a scenic walk or jog. The neighborhood is residential and during our stay was quite quiet (you'll hear and see planes passing overhead, but they never bothered us). It's also just a short walk to neighborhood restaurants and a quick drive to groceries, etc. We'd definitely stay here again.

Great garden and beach access
This was the perfect location for our family of four. It was equidistant between two different and unique beach experiences (sandy Ocean Beach and rocks and tidepools at Sunset Cliffs). The backyard garden is a peaceful retreat. Everything is clean and the kitchen is well equipped with utensils, pots, pans, and spices. The beds were very comfortable.
