It is a very nice hotel, people say it is old and it is but very well kept up, i think it is a gem for the cost!!!!! Prices seem fair for a hotel, staff is excellent and i would definitely will stay there again, it is actually one of my favorite hotels in san diego, dor where i satu as i don not ever see a pount in staying some place thats 5 stars!!!!

Great place to stay. Dated (1970s) hut refurbished. Clean. Good, reasonably priced food in the on site restaurants. Close to Fashon Valley, the San Diego trolley. Minutes away from SeaWorld, SD Zoo, etc.

The day I checked in (Friday) I called the front desk to inform of a water leak in the bathroom with water on the floor and carpet, but due to the late hour I asked that repairs be done the next morning. Saturday evening when I returned to the room the water leak was worse and the carpet was soaked. Sunday morning, when I checked out I called the front desk and was told that a manager would call or email me. A week later, I called the front desk and was again told that I would hear back from a manager. It has now been 9 days since I first reported the leak and no word from any manager. The “cover up” is ALWAYS worse than the original offense. Terrible customer service at this hotel.
