It was a mediocre hotel that is best for simply sleeping in. The gym smelled like feet every day but the breakfast was above par from other low end hotels and the cleaning staff was great.

The hotel made up for what happened on the 1st day. So when my room got changed to a cleaner & quieter room, I was satisfied. The laundry room was closed so I had to wash clothes elsewhere. It's close to SeaWorld & San Diego Zoo so that was good. Overall I still don't think it's a high 3 star hotel.

Well, you get what you pay for. I would say this is an average hotel, the staff was nice and attentive, and it wasn't dirty per se, but not the cleanest (if that makes sense). The buildings are old, and it shows. The area was good, it's very close to Pacific Beach and not too far from Coronado. Overall, there were lots of pros and cons to this place, but I'd probably stay here again if I was on a budget.

The room was small, breakfast was terrible, i needed a new key every day. The pool was dirty, my toilet over flowed on the floor and asked the guy if he could look at it, i didnt want to take a towel to get up the water, i thought he went for a mop but he came back with a towel an said now its clean, no disinfectant an i had a toddler with me. I would never stay there again, nor would i recommend it to anyone. Very disappointed

OK hotel if not staying long
I got to the hotel a bit early and was feeling under the weather, I was told I had to wait an hour to check-in while they verified that my room was ready. After 40 minutes I was allowed to check-in and got my room. After unpacking and laying down I noticed the smell of urine in the room, I went downstairs to the lobby and changed it. You get what you pay for. Hotel is a little old and outdated, free breakfast is basic and parking is plentiful. Just an OK hotel if you are not staying a long time.
