The property was beautiful, the building was older but remodeled with new features like toilets, sinks, showers, etc but it kept the feel of an beautiful older building. It was decorated in wonderful taste and the gardens and area around it are outstanding. They are just beautiful to walk around.

Hotel Rustico Casa de Diaz was an all-around enjoyable experience. From its private, scenic location to its accommodating and personable owner (Juan), pilgrims could not ask for a better locale or host along the Camino de Santiago!

The property has an excellent location, it is quiet, the staff cannot do enough to ensure that your stay is memorable, the meals were great and the room large and very comfortable, thoroughly recommend staying, it is also very close to the Camino trail.

Such a lovely restful place to stay for a 2 night break whilst walking the Camino. Everything was perfect. Was initially a bit disappointed that it was almost 5kms from Samos (not the 1.3kms as on website) because we wanted to go to the monastery services but a great taxi lady brought us and collected us on Sunday - and a positive is that you pick up the Camino at the front door to cont 9kms to Sarria when you leave - fabulous stay

Very nice hotel. Close to the Camino de Santiago.
Perfect to rest un quiet ambient during the Camino. Is very pretty and cozy. Is beautiful, clean, quiet and cheap. Perfect. 100% recomended

Luxurious country house stay
It was a stop off on the camino......actually it is 5k off the camino itself but we had a taxi pick us up from Samos. Glorious house furnished with antiques and we were made very welcome. Only downside was that the owner who spoke as little English as I do Spanish, insisted that we pay him, which we did, although I was sure (and later confirmed ) that we had already paid Hotels.com

Hemos reservado y pagado con 5 meses de anticipación, hemos escrito por el chat de la aplicación y por la página web del hotel, nunca nos informaron que estaba cerrado el lugar. En la web del hotel informan que hicieron una restauración y abrieron el primero de junio, cuando llegamos el 25 de junio no había nadie, por el chat de expedia nos enviaron un recordatorio de nuestra reserva y todos los detalles para el check in. Cuando logramos comunicarnos por teléfono nos informan que el lugar ya no opera y que hasta el nombre le han cambiado pero sigue la página web activa y en la via aún están los carteles guiando la ruta. Definitivamente terrible porque el lugar está muy apartado del casco central.

Llegamos y no habia madie, el hotel está cerrado, experiencia horrible llegar desde 500 km y encontrarse con que no hay nadie en.medio del campo y son hospedaje. No los recomiendo ni al.hotel ni a expedia.
