Not all Hampton Inns are the same apparently. We had just left a Hampton Inn in New Paltz, NY that was fabulous and have stayed at the one in downtown, SLC, which is also great. This one was pretty awful. Old, dark & not very clean. Upon arrival, we rolled back the covers to see wrinkled sheets with a hair in them. The staff brought us up fresh sheets that we changed ourselves. I booked this location because it was right by the airport and we got in at close to midnight but it would have been worth the extra drive to the downtown location.

We liked our room 216. It is big and roomy! I needed a couple luggage stands, another side table or two would be great. This nice hotel needs a restaurant! A mini bar in room at least. Probably difficult in Utah, I know. The bed and pillows were the best, better than premium accommodations in Jackson! Almost wonderful. Sincerely, Hal Kuhns The staff are wonderful!

Friendly, clean and comfortable.
Had to find a place to stay last minute because of delayed flight. Got into SLC at 1 am. We were picked up about 10 minutes after we called. Room was clean. Had a nice simple breakfast in the morning and took shuttle to airport. The most stress free part of my entire trip.

I thought the gal, who checked us in late afternoon, was friendly and professional. We stayed only one night ,and we took the 4:30 am shuttle to the airport. It was thoughtful that a bagged breakfast was provided since we would miss the regular breakfast offerings.

Great Stay
Not all Hampton’s are created equal. This one lives up to the standards. I greatly appreciated the staff checking on me and taking care of my room. Everything else was excellent. Definitely recommend.
