The worst thing was that they claim to be dog-friendly and do not allow dogs in the only grassy area of the hotel, which is next to the river. They post pictures of the river and there is plenty of grass between the hotel and the river, yet, they directed us to a gravel parking lot for the "pet area". We paid extra for a "river view" room and I wouldn't recommend that. Also, the bathroom is not great (body wash, shampoo, etc. is not good and the temperature is hard to dial in) and if you have loud neighbors that come back late, you can hear everything through the door.

Checkin was quick and easy, king room on the river side was perfect. Very clean property and staff were always friendly. Easily walkable to main street shops and food. The laundry machines need updating, and the hallways echo quite loudly when groups are walking through or housekeeping carts are being moved around. Would definitely stay again.

Quick one night stay. Well established motel. Courteous staff. Clean entry and room. River on the back is a nice amenity. Pool was drained but expected this time of year before winter. Good breakfast and coffee.

Hotel is very aged. Furnishings at end of life. e.g. Large hole in main curtain facing carpark. On the upside, parking was easy and location walkable to main street in town. Ok for 1 night but not good value for money.
