Pleasant room with independent entrance in a beautiful family Basque house named Etchenikia-Ttikia, overlooking a spacious private terrace. 3 star ratings (furnished with tourism) and 2 ears of corn (Gîte de France label), which we hope will be a guarantee of quality.

Its splendid shared enclosed garden, facing due south, will enchant you. Relaxing atmosphere and conviviality await you. Ideal vacation spot for a couple wishing to hear the birds sing in the morning.

Located in Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle, a charming Basque village located between the sea and the mountains, at the crossroads of the main attractions of the Basque Country, in the department of the Pyrénées Atlantiques, which lives up to its name! Feet in the ocean and the Pyrenean peaks at your fingertips.

Enjoy the many beaches of the Basque Coast, the splendid landscaped lake of Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle and its sandy beach, the departure of hiking trails at the foot of the house, the Basque pelota pediment and the Nivelle ( fishing, canoeing) within 50 m ... for active, sporting holidays or simply to rest.

The Etchenikia-Ttikia house is located in Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle, in the oldest district of the village, the Ibarron district. The architecture dates back to the 13th century. In the Middle Ages, it was a stage very frequented by pilgrims en route to Compostela.

The Basque pelota pediment, a children's playground and the splendid Inharria farmhouse (rental of rooms for weddings, events, seminars and birthdays) are 50 m away.
Many walks and hikes in the surroundings, including the hike of the Ibarron hills from the house, with a view of the Nivelle valley and the whole Basque Coast.
River fishing possible at 50 m, at the 12th century Roman virgin bridge, which spans the Nivelle.

Winter sports in the Atlantic Pyrenees: enjoy a day of skiing in one of the three resorts of Artouste, Gourette and Pierre St-Martin.

Artouste (18 pistes) at 151 km, the most atypical of resorts, its village on the shore of Lac de Fabrèges, facing the Pic du Midi d'Ossau (2884 m) and the Pyrenees National Park. A breathtaking panorama, 150 hectares dedicated to the pleasure of skiing.

Découverte du pays Basque
Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans ce gîte notamment grâce à l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, à leurs bons plans et bonnes adresses (randonnées, restaurants, visites..). La situation géographique du gîte est aussi un atout, que ce soit pour se rendre sur la côte ou dans les terres basques. Nous le recommandons et reviendrons avec plaisir !

Séjour très appréciable
Moi et ma compagne avons passé un très beau séjour dans la propriété de Cédric. Le logement fût conforme à l'annonce. Pour les amoureux du Pays Basque, l'emplacement est idéal car assez proche de la côte et en même temps en plein coeur des villages et randos sympas à faire. Les petites attentions de Cédric et sa femme ainsi que la sympathie de cette famille furent très appréciable.
