STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTT
This was the worst stay I've ever experienced! I booked a non-smoking room, but the room I was given reeked of cigarette smoke, despite signs everywhere stating that smoking was not allowed. I asked to be moved to a different room four times, but each room smelled the same. The front desk was unhelpful and the manager who was noted to be “on-call” refused to resolve the issue until the next morning. I have a severe smoke allergy and asked for a refund for the day as I was not going to stay in any of the rooms as I was developing a severe allergy but they charged me anyway. I tried to dispute the charge with hotel.com, but they couldn't reach the property manager. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this property!

Horrible, dirty, staff has low morale and IQ
Property is filthy, more worried about long term residents robbing you than noises from parties and drug sales, staff have no clue what they are doing other than standing and breathing. After inquiring at 4pm when the room will be ready and being told to wait another 10 minutes, staff told me and my kids to leave and they are canceling my reservation. Only to find out they checked me in anyway. I didn’t even step foot in the room or began any check in process. I immediately booked the Hyatt downtown Sacramento and they were amazing.

In need of updating and investment
We were very disappointed by our stay here. Negatives There are lots of homeless people in the area, including around the resort. There are also several people who are using the place as a long term stay. The resort as s whole does not feel safe and secure. Cleanliness - room on the whole was ok but we found a discarded vape in our room(it was supposed to be non-smoking room). The furniture needs updating - wardrobe doors didn't close, drawers didn't close. Our keycard also deactivated during our stay which required a trip back to the front desk. No identification was asked for which again is a security risk. There is a swimming pool which was being used by others. We didn't use it as there was lots of swearing and people smoking weed around it. Positives Good range of toiletries provided. Breakfast was provided as part of the cost. Cereal,waffles, yogurt. Basics Easy walk along bike track by the river into Oldtown Sacramento There are some simple fixes - proper fencing and gates which keeps the resort more secure. Monitoring the breakfast room so that you can limit the risk of the homeless people sneaking in. Would definitely not stay here again. ☹️

Absolutely horrible! Homeless everywhere and drinking and bathing in the pool, people smoking next to the "NO SMOKING" signs, bed sheets had blood on them and the lights in the room did not work. Room reaked of cigarettes in a supposedly no smoking facility. Called the front desk to change the sheets and fix the lights and no one ever came. Demanded the rest of my money back, I let them have my first night just cuz I wanted to get the F*** out of there ASAP.

I’m not trying to be mean, but the area is sketchy and questionable af. The people staying at the hotel seemed a bit weird too, and the lady at the front desk was pretty irritated. Which I low key understand but at the same time, this gave off a really unprofessional vibe. The rooms are okay and I can tell the place has potential.

Check into our room, the bed had stains look like sex stains, mold on the bathroom. The whole room smelled like urine, weed and pet urine. I wasn’t comfortable putting my baby on the bed what so ever. Went to the lobby, we wanted our money completely back but the manger said they couldn’t give us a refund because we booked on Expedia so told them what’s wrong with the room. The manger upgraded our room to a king room. The room was a little better but it still had the same kind of similar vibe as the other room before. It was still dirty. If I got my money back I wouldn’t have stayed there. I don’t recommend anyone to stay
