The hotel’s only elevator was broken the entire four days of our stay. They sent an email informing us of this on our check-in day. I immediately called to try to secure a 1st or 2nd floor room, as I’m in my mid-seventies. They couldn’t accommodate me, but said I could cancel and stay elsewhere. But it was too late to find another hotel, as I was flying all day. Turns out the elevator had been broken for an entire week already, so earlier notice would have been helpful. Truly disappointing.
Hotel itself was clean, breakfast was adequate, coffee was excellent, and lobby easily accommodated visiting with friends and family members. But four flights of stairs every time I went to or from our room was quite a challenge.
