"Everyone was friendly the only bad thing was there are roosters in the area that make a lot of noise, but it is everywhere on this island having nothing to do with the hotel."

"A coworker and I stayed at Daddy Joe’s on a work trip. We had a really good experience and would recommend it. The building is old but updated. Rooms are really nice with WiFi, streaming tvs, good air conditioning, refrigerators, and other amenities. Bed was comfortable and water was hot. The restaurant has excellent food and good prices. Breakfast is available, but you have to order the previous day. I can’t say enough good things about the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. If you are expecting a stereotypical beach resort, this isn’t it. It’s a relatively small facility with no pool. There is access to a beautiful beach a short (1/4 mile) walk or drive across the street. I’ve had longer walks to the beach at large resorts. Daddy Joe’s is about a mile from the glass window bridge and even closer to the Queen’s Baths, but I’d recommend a rental car to see the island and explore. This is a great place to get away and relax. "

"Although my family group changed from 8 adults and a child to three adults, everything else was perfect and quite frankly would have been for the larger group. In years of staying in VRBO, I have never been in a better equipped place. Everything needed was there both inside and outside. And yes there was room for three families. The setting was wonderful and the view spectacular. I spent many days reading in the shade on the deck looking out at the sea and cruise ships on the horizon. The Sandbar restaurant was across the street if you wanted to be served while eating or drinking on its beach. A short ride in a golf cart took you to other restaurants, shops and a well equipped, large grocery store. Couldn't get better! "
