Loved the location. Walkable to Vatican, of course but accessible to everything across the river surrounding Plaza Navona and much more. A very high recommend if you enjoy walking. A fantastic grocery store one block away as well as tons of restaurants, shopping and other amenities. Bed and pillows were comfortable, room clean and AC worked very well.

Perfect base for our trip to Rome. Gianlucca and his team were excellent: friendly, prompt responses to texts, helpful, polite. We felt supported should we have needed it. Lots to do in the area - unfortunately both the local metro stations were closed during our trip but the bus services are excellent so used those instead. Would recommend. Caio

The property is very conveniently located to the vatican. There is also many shops and dinning options nearby so you wont have any issues finding dinning. There is also a supermarket very closeby if you want to have some things in the room. Overall very good experience

I recently stayed at El Dorado Vatican Hotel and, overall, my experience was mixed. The property feels more like a guest house rather than a hotel, which was not quite what I was expecting. Personally, I would have preferred a traditional hotel setting for several reasons, including the enhanced safety and convenience typically associated with hotels. One major drawback was the elevator situation. The elevator is very small, which is manageable, but it is turned off late at night and only reactivated at a certain time in the morning. This posed an inconvenience, especially on the day of our checkout, when we had to carry our luggage down from the fourth floor. On a positive note, the owner was very kind and welcoming, which added a nice personal touch to our stay. However, despite the owner's hospitality, I would likely choose a hotel for my next visit for the added convenience and amenities. Overall, if you're looking for a more home-like atmosphere and don't mind the limitations, this place could be a good fit. However, if you prefer the typical conveniences of a hotel, you might want to consider other options.

The property is close to the Vatican to the bus pickup number 6 and only if my dumb ass come down in the middle of summer would have been a 10/10 experience. I would highly recommend this place to stay as the staff are amazing and near by restaurants shopping and not right in the craziness of Rome but a short walk from it. It’s easy to find and easy to get to anywhere. If you don’t have power adapters just charge your phone/battery/tablet from the back of the TV. My girlfriend and I had all our luggage delivered to the wrong country and still haven’t seen it but shops and markets near by have save us.

We had a wonderful stay at the El Dorado Vatican. It was perfectly located in a great area with lots of great cafes and restaurants. The kitchen was perfect to bring food back. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at El Dorado Vatican. It was perfect for the 5-night stay in Rome for my college BFF and me. Our room was big enough for the two of us and was clean. It was also cleaned each day, which was nice. The A/C worked well, which was great in the hot weather we had. It was nice to have the shared kitchen for coffee or tea in the morning, if you wanted. There are many dining options (coffee/bakery, gelato, lunch, and dinner) right within the Prati neighborhood. The neighborhood felt very safe and was quiet and away from the hustle/bustle of the touristy areas. We walked everywhere- Vatican City less than 10 minutes, Trevi Fountain/Pantheon 20 minutes, Spanish Steps 25 minutes, and Colloseum/Roman Forum was 50 minutes. It was great exploring Rome by foot, if you can. Also, arranging the shuttle from/to the airport was super convenient, and take advantage of the coffee croissant at the caffeteria down the street for only 2.50 euro/day from Gianluca. He was easily available by WhatsApp for any questions. We definitely recommend El Dorado Vatican. We would stay here again.
