Great place to crash
Cozy apt to crash at for the night. Clean bathroom w/ fresh towels, comfy bed, and plenty of outlets to charge my devices. So thankful for the iron board and iron in the closet; came in clutch. Owner was excellent at communicating; appreciate all his hard work in making my stay so easy :)

When we arrived at night, the neighborhood smelled of w**d, there was crazy loud music, and one of the neighbors blocked the drive, had to track them down and ask them to move it - they kind of laughed at us and thought at one point they weren’t going to, we wanted to leave immediately, but didn’t want to lose out on what we paid for several nights. A previous occupant left clothes and other effects, we could hear the people above us who were loud and would have music on at all hours of the night as well, the mattress dipped, the shower is incredibly small, and to close the door was another obstacle, the peel-and-stick kitchen backsplash was unraveling, the floor wasn’t level, and there was only lamp light available in the bedroom - also interesting choice for bedding was a microfiber blanket and a thin sheet as oppose to you know - a comforter or full bed set, but there’s no account for taste. In the pictures there were smoke detectors and when we arrived one was completely removed from the wall. Also something of concern was the TP roll had dark red brown streaks on it, which of course we replaced immediately. I genuinely don’t get how this place had such high reviews - mind boggling, really. The check in and cleanliness was all well and good but the rest really wasn’t. I can see the effort, however, we really wouldn’t stay here again. Woof.

Just needed WiFi and maybe a loveseat or couch
Didn’t seem to work. Could have been me. Good bandwidth from cell coverage, so not an issue for me. We know about the seating and brought a couple of camp chairs.

I stayed 3 nights while in town for a wedding and this place was in a great neighborhood. The check in process was super easy and communication with the hosts was excellent. I asked for a standing fan to help with the temperature as there is only one AC unit and it isn’t in the bedroom and they dropped it off later that day. Some helpful info for others to know: This unit is in an old creaky house, and the bedroom is close to the street so it is not great for light sleepers. Photos make it seem a little nicer than it felt in person, but I feel like it was fairly priced. Also if you plan to use the kitchen, you may need to bring condiments since there were minimal items included.

Nice place but limited
This place was very clean and had a very comfortable bed. However there was no place to sit except on the bed and stiff chairs at the kitchen table. The shower is so tiny you can hardly turn around. The host Kelvin is nice but with these limitations we wouldn’t stay there again.

The apartment is in a lovely Victorian in the cultural area of Rochester. The apartment was well appointed and the bed was very comfy! This apartment is such an easy “win” over any hotel room in the area!

In town for my son’s wedding and it was a 6 minute walk to his place and a 6 minute walk back if I needed the calm of my own temp space - nice, clean, quiet. Lots of great restaurants to walk to, 7-11 and Walgreens, etc. Loved the neighborhood. Hoped to re-book on next visit to the East coast. August fireflies were an added bonus. Great visit. Thank you.
