The room and pool and hot tub were ok, but not the cleanest ever. Beds were hard. In the king room the fan blows right on you, which woke me up every time it kicked on.

Nice clean safe and secure hotel. Very modern. Felt very relaxed and comfortable there. The rear door entrance to the 3rd floor is great too if you have a room on 3. Great service and friendly people.

Best Dog Friendly Hotel
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn Rochester Pennfield. It’s centrally located and easy to find. Close to shops restaurants and other towns. I would highly recommend! They were also incredibly pet friendly and had plenty of grass to potty my dog and had treats at the front desk.

Our room was on the 3rd floor, which was super convenient to reach by the rear door, which entered directly on that floor. The front desk store was a little confusing - there were snacks and items for purchase nearby but no clear instructions on what to do when no one at the front desk, which happened a couple times. And, as with most hotels, while the items were convenient, they were over priced and mediocre.

Disappointing
Was bothered twice while DND was on the door about “our smoke detector alarming down at the front desk” until Maintenence removed it for being broken/faulty because we definitely DONT SMOKE and showed them the room and lack of any kind of smoke anywhere (leaving my whole family in danger if there were an ACTUAL fire as they left us without a fire detector that whole night) when I voiced my concerns and asked if I would be reimbursed for such an inconvenience/danger to my family, was told the manager would be contacted and I would hear back. Never heard back. Sad for the Hilton name to be attached. Disappointing to say the least. Stayed 3 days, never again.

Cleanliness of Rooms was unacceptable.
I have been staying at this hotel for years since it opened as it is near my corporate office for work. I've never had any issues, until now. They are in between management and low on staff. Staff that is there are amazing, but the rooms are in noticeable bad shape and my room was not cleaned - hairs in shower, used coffee in coffee machine, oil all over the door, scum all over the bathroom, my room had no full length mirror and spot, stains and tears in curtains and on walls. I stayed there again after the weekend and had the same issues, crumbs on the floor etc in the next room. Very unfortunate... I checked out early and don't think I'll be returning.

Very nice hotel, but...
Very nice clean hotel, comfortable bed. However, they turned the water off for maintenance around 8:00pm. No one seemed to know how long the water would be out. The front desk said we should have been notified about the maintenance at check-in, but we were not. Water came back on around 9:00pm. Also, at check in Hampton Inn added a $50 charge to my room. Hotels.com was very prompt in helping me to have this charge removed. However, at check-out, my room receipt showed the original price as quoted to me by Hotels.com. The Hampton said the added charges are customary in the industry to cover extra charges we may have incurred during our stay. I didn't know this and no one gave me the heads up at check-in. Maybe they thought I wouldn't notice. I wonder what would have happened if I hadn't noticed??

It’s great for business travel. I always stay here because there is a mini-fridge, coffee pot(small so I bring my travel Keurig) and microwave. These are great amenities if you don’t want to go out for every meal.

No problems with check in or staff availability. Room was clean on arrival and cleaned 1 time during our 3 night stay. Showering was subpar with lukewarm water and slow draining. These issues were not enough to complain about to staff but was not up to a high standard for a $200 a night stay.
