My door didn’t work. I continuously changed my key but it was never the key it was always the door that wouldn’t detect the key. The workers would use their key and it would still take at least 10 tries to work. I asked for a change of room and I was told it wasn’t a good enough excuse to change my room. Then, when they realized they said they would change my room then didn’t. Then, they said they didn’t have any rooms. It took them 3 days to finally change the lock which still had troubles, but was somewhat better. The staff would ignore the issue and they are very unprofessional.

Loved it! First time in Rio, very close to the beach and the buffet that is a few blocks away (I can’t remember the name) that has filet mignon was absolutely amazing! Also the breakfast and fruit juice at the hotel was great :)

A clean hotel, not fancy but great walking location to Copacabana Beach, bars and restaurants. The thing that makes this hotel have a terrific star rating is the staff. Well organised with reception staff going the extra mile, with assistance and care about their works. The front of house show that they are there to help, the person looking after bags, the staff at breakfast are the same.

I liked the staff they were very helpful. IT'S a very clean hotel the rooms were very nice.The breakfast was ok they may want to change up on there menu a bit. There are plenty of food options within walking distance. I would definitely staythere again and recommend it others

Great location for the price , and great clean hotel, maybe management changed from the last comment but they are really fast when you ask for a service, the hot water perfect for those that are from the north, they are doing renovations but only between 11am -5pm so we didn’t hear any noise from that point which was ok we were out by then the only reason I gave a 4 start because we were not notified of this, and was put on an old floor and was not giving the room we paid for. Nevertheless we had a good room with ok space for two

A complete nightmare this hotel is out dated. The sheets had blood stains on them, and it was thick visible mold in the bathroom with bugs crawling around. I talked to staff to try to switch rooms, and the other three rooms had the same problem. I left immediately first thing in the morning.

Phenomenal - staff friendliness, from front desk to cleaning staff. Breakfast is off the charts. Location is perfect, near everything you want to see. Bed is a Florida King… I didn’t even know such thing existed… AC is cold, room is clean. I would absolutely stay again, but not in room 506. see below. I had a party of 11, therefore 3 rooms. They were all slightly different, which is fine, but in room 506 there wasn’t a door to give privacy to the potty user. The reason why there was no door is because one wouldn’t fit. I am not a big person ( 5’3” 130 pounds )and I had to go sideways in order to fit through the opening. My problem was not the privacy actually, was the size of the opening. I felt trapped. I commented to front desk which upon check out, who promptly said “we would have changed your room”. To which I replied: “if only you weren’t fully booked…”

At the beginning it was no good for me because they gave me the standard room when I booked the Jr suite, but the next day they gave me the room I booked.

Location was near the beach but the facilities are not good. The were giant roaches and excessive mold in the bathroom. They over charged me for a late check out. Make sure you paid right there and there, double check the amount and get a receipt. Breakfast was the same every day, by day 3 I went somewhere else for breakfast. They advertise a roof top pool on the pictures and internet but there’s none. Deceiving tactics. Be careful, there are other options around. I won’t patronize this place ever again. Very unprofessional.
