This is a beautiful restored hostel, but as the same with hostel average cleanliness is not a priority even if you are in a private room. Specialy my room had a vintage door not sealing the frame, allowing all kind of mosquitoes get in to the room, not a pleasant night!

The building itself is a very interesting piece of historic architecture that has been modernized to house this hotel/hostel-complex. I especially loved the breakfast buffet, close to the pool area which invites you to chill during the day but you can also get some remote-work done in the quiet areas with excellent wifi. Last nut not least, the staff is very welcoming and helpful! It's been an absolute pleasure! Muito obrigado!

Amazing location and wonderful breakfast. A gem away from the buzz and stress of the city that is also within walking distance from the Cosme Velho station heading to Christ the redeemer. Check-in was extremely slow - it took us more than one hour to get our room - but I guess it was due to the high season situation. I would definitely stay here again! Totally recommend it.

It’s was the worst experience ever staying at this hostel. It’s a place run by inexperienced staff, rude to the point of insulting the guests, offering bad quality food, bkfast with rotten fruits, no daily cleaning in the rooms, no face towels or soap in the washing basin. Fire alarm went off 5 times during the night till 4 am. Pool is used by non guests, rain water comes inside the room, no restaurants or shops nearby. Avoid this place !

Localização excelente, hotel muito aconchegante, piscina aquecida perfeita, tudo limpo e bem cuidado. Atendimento de todos os profissionais foi excelente com exceção do cozinheiro do restaurante que não quis refazer a carne que queimou (refez por ordem do gerente, ficou bem passada de novo, mas pelo menos sem gosto de queimado), mas de resto ele fez com excelência, recomendo as entradas e bebidas do happy hour, inclusive, a caipirinha deles é perfeita, uma das melhores que ja tomei. Recomendo muito o hotel, pretendo voltar mas com quarto duplo, pois parece que este tem limpeza diária e o banheiro maior. O banheiro do quarto 25 (compartilhado) é separado do chuveiro, tornando tudo menor para se trocar ou usar o vaso, tentem pegar um compartilhado com banheiro junto se possível, deve ser mais aconchegante. Pedimos para ficarmos os 4 hóspedes da reserva juntos em um quarto privativo e deixaram numa boa! Conclusão: hotel excelente, vão pois os benefícios superam em muito os malefícios
