The lobby was unattended. We called to get directions to enter the hotel and had to wait several minutes to get someone to tell us about the lockbox to enter the lobby. We were then told somone would come to get us into our room. After waiting 25 minutes we called again. After waiting and confusing conversation we learned the keys to our room were in a drawer in the lobby.
We understand staffing issues creating the need for alternate check in procedure. But the directions were totally insufficient.
Otherwise the hotel and room were find
This is a lovely little hotel. The rooms are clean & the bed was comfy. Breakfast served on the roof was delicious, and gorgeous views. Very friendly staff. We would stay here again.
Fine location in Old Town. Staff service was excellent. Television did not work during European Cup. Terrace upstairs was commendable. Shower was very tight.
Wonderfully quaint and quirky as I’d hoped. Adequate breakfast tray but a delight to eat it on the roof terrace with such lovely views and in the evenings we could go up there with a bottle of local wine bought round the corner (glasses and corkscrew provided in room). We also made full use of our spa tub up on the roof.
We slept well as the room stayed dark and cool in a very hot week. Central to all the sights in the medieval city and no end of restaurants (try MarcoPolo).
We were well looked after and recommend the experience of staying in this property.
In an ancient, newly renovated building on a tiny cobble street in the middle of the old town of Rhodes near absolutely everything worth seeing - and that's a lot. Wonderful included breakfast on the roof terrace with an incredible view. I was so happy, I extended my stay.
I stayed in the ground floor room with the stone arch. It was very comfortable. It was cool to be in the residential part of Old Town. Nice view from the roof where a large, simple breakfast is served. There is a private hot tub on the roof as well.

Cost cutting seems the most adequate, e.g. no front desk, no telephones, no maps, cleaner on restricted hours. There is a belief that technology provides the solutions. Not easy to find, but quiet and a beautiful rooftop breakfast view across the old town.
This hotel is a very nice and quiet spot in the heart of the old town. The facilities are basic and the bathroom nothing to write home about but it’s very good value and has lovely staff.
This is a tiny family-run boutique hotel in the Old Town. It's so far into the Old Town that you have to walk 200m on a several-hundred-year-old pebble pathway just to get there. The room is small but functional. They sent me two messages to confirm my arrival time and then weren't there at that time, albeit earlier than normal but I came on the ferry so they should understand and have some flexibility. Then when I checked out I had to walk back and pay the 50c/day tax that she forgot to collect at checkin but she didn't have any change for my coins. Ugh. Bottom line: Interesting place, management needs work.
Wonderful two night stay, very central location for Rhodes Old Town, was a challenge to find but worth it (don’t rely on google maps for best route), very quaint historical neighborhood, very comfortable bed, loved the room, nice rooftop patio

We stayed for one night to catch an early boat trip .Kate was really excellent by producing a breakfast at 7.15 instead of 8 am .
Lovely person wonderfully helpful.
Accommodation ideal for one night which included a.c
And the roof top area was distant enough from the main town night life to ensure a good sleep.
It would be difficult to find the hotel arriving late in the dark along a very narrow 6 ft and probably not what a single person may feel daunting an uncomfortable with.it was on an offshoot of the 6 ft wide lane.
More for the adventurous ,it was a little gem and reminded us of a Riad in Marrakesh .
We loved it

Very nice apartment for few nights in old town
Very friendly host. Amazing location and great experience. Just for the sake of clarification - it is an apartment in the Rhodes old town. Not a shiny hotel with a pool. So the review is subjective to expectations.

Handy location
Perfect location in the town of Rhodes. This was a 1 night stay as part of a longer trip. Ideal for a nights stay
Excellent location in old town and yet very quiet.
Clean with fresh towels daily.
It has all basic things you need and good value for money.
There is a smell in the bathroom and room that you can't get rid of as there is only a tiny window on top of the bed.
Other than that all good

Great service & location
Really nice basic hotel, on a charming little street in the old town, walking distance to absolutely everything! The roof terrace was so lovely and private, and breakfast on the terrace was a big plus. Kate is very lovely and Stefano is super helpful, thanks to both!
Place was really beautiful and was perfectly situated in the Old Town. Staff were lovely and gave some tips for places for dinner and the breakfast they served was nice with a bit of a variety.
The property is accessed by walking along very narrow - less than 6 feet wide - alleys over very loose and rough cobblestones. It is very hard to roll suitcases. The alleys are filled with trash and very dark at night. The hotel is unattended and deliberately left dark at night. If you have an accident, there is no one to help and no phones to call for help. Bathroom was filled with mildew. No soap in the bathroom and half a roll of toilet paper. Most concerning, I was instructed by the absentee manager to leave the front door unlocked when I left the hotel in complete disregard for the safety of the other sleeping guests.
This is a great, if very basic, hotel. Communications regarding our arrival, and delay due to cancelled ferry, was excellent. The location of the hotel is also perfect and the manager was very helpful.
But, the facilities are basic and the rooms very small. For one night it was fine but I think it would be a problem for a stay any longer. The roof terrace is a bonus for the basic breakfast or a glass of wine (your own) in the evening.
