Great place to call home when in Reykjavik!
This hotel was wonderful! The excellent staff helped us book tours and get taxis. We had a great view of the harbor. The Beer Garden was the best! Great food and a relaxing and comfortable setting.

The room was perfectly fine but we were kept awake at night with noises from central heating system even though we didn’t have our heating on. Also woken up by really long and noisy sound from the toilet cistern. Breakfast was very average, ingredients poor quality and not much choice. Tiny cups for tea and coffee and no freshly squeezed orange juice. Location of hotel was good and there were lots of things to see and do as long as you’re a walker. Loved Iceland just didn’t love this hotel.

There was a desigated bus stop(#12) right outside. This made it convenient for airport bus drop and tour bus pick up/ drop offs. Most of staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was beautiful and has great restaurants in it. It was our favourite hotel we stayed in during our Ring Road adventure. Only downfall was parking. There is no hotel owned parking which is always convenient. There is parking nearby but it gets expensive because it is run by a company and you have to wheel all your luggage to street parking. I would still highly recommend this hotel though. LOVED the bathroom!
