Just off of the downtown district. Quiet neighborhood. Convenient to walk around. Close to clean park. Staff solid. Will come back to stay for third or more times in the future. Great breakfast too.

Originally booked vac use of easy pickup and drop off from the airport via Flybus, they allowed an early check-in and held a bag while we completed the Laugavegur Trail. Great customer service and a really cool room, conveniently walkable to the downtown area and the Kaktus Kate!

The hotel room is fine but there are rooms for improvement: 1. Should consider installing usb power connection points for mobile and computer devices. 2. Bathing water is extracted from underground hot springs which has a bad smell (I understand it is normal water quality but it just not feels good) 3. Free parking means parking on the street opposite to the hotel!

The rooms were very tiny. They initially gave us a room for a family if 4 (2 parents and 2 kids under age 10) a room with 2 single beds and a sofa converted to bed. The sofa bed was terrible , it sunk in the middle, so if I lay in it, i would roll into middle. How do they call this a family room? I asked for a different room, saying the sofa bed was not acceptable to sleep in. They gave me another room, now it it was a tiny room, with a upstairs downstairs. It had a spiral staircase which jutted out and very hazardous to my 7 yo, as it just hit his height. There was no other way to navigate around the room. Upstairs was dusty, and mind yiu, what parent would separate their kids top and bottom, especially with a staircase. So we had to sleep one parent with one child, upstairs and downstairs. I would not recommend for family.

This hotel was in a nice neighborhood and very convenient to local shopping and restaurants and near the pick-up for our tours. The staff was all first-rate. Especially the front desk staff who helped with excellent restaurant recommendations.

Hotel was not like in the pictures. Everything in the room was outdated and ugly. The room has a very bad odor. I requested 2 twin beds and they gave me one full size. The app says free parking and that was not the case. They offer Free parking on the streets but was always full so you have to park far and walk back to the hotel. The area is far from city center. Price was high for what they offer. I only slept there the first night. I had to leave the next day and find another hotel. Service was bad and front desk and manager very rude. They were not willing to help and give me a different room like in the web pictures, neither let me park in their garage without charging me a fee… I definitely will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I booked a family room which was expensive. The pull out sofa bed was broken and absolutely unusable. I had to get a second room in order to get a bed to sleep in. It was a very expensive experience and not worth it. I had other central accommodation in Reykyavik that was much better value

Good walkable downtown location, yet we could street-park for free in front of the hotel. The hotel has a paid parking lot option as well. Room was nice and comfortable, and the breakfast was great.
