Staff was super nice and friendly. I requested a room away from street noise. They gave me L2 floor (basement) at parking level, right by the entrance where staff goes out on break for smoking, laughing out loud and listening to music... the rooms are so poorly soundproofed, I could hear everything. Shower takes 3-4 minutes before getting hot water. They roughly have 10 parking spots for the entire property, so good luck. I was able to find 1 spot for 1 day during me 3 day staff, otherwise there are free spots a few blocks away.

We had a corner room for 2 nights.Little bit of a strange set up, with the door to the balcony in the shower. Room was small and there was no where to unpack your suitcase. Ok for a short stay. Street was prefect for shopping and exploring. Rented electric scooters on the street to decrease walking and it was a lot of fun. We were lucky and got a parking spot in the back so we left car for our stay, otherwise there is a garage across the street. Breakfast was fine. Assorted pastries, eggs, bacon and yogurt with some fruit. All and all a good stay.

Not any parking so you have to pay across the street at parking garage. Breakfast was great everyday. Good spot for tours bus stop outside. Walkable area was great.

We arrived at the hotel at 6AM and check out was several hours out. We were able to leave our luggage in hile we explored the area. When we checked the entire process was smooth. Our room was definitely clean. I did not get the 2 ladies who worked the front desk but they were helpful and knowledgeable and personable. We often came in late and Polina was so personable and friendly. We often stayed in the lobby until 12-1AM & Polina was there every night. Always attentive and polite.

No a/c hotel in Iceland?! The first time I get to know?! Lousy restaurant service. Alrdy passed 7am but still not open, as rushing for tour. Simple breakfast with rude staffs. Basic hotel at cosy price. Good with TV screen cast function. Simple breakfast with rude staffs. Recommended only for the location as pick up stop 9 Snorrabraut was just right outside the hotel otherwise go for other options.

Checked in at 2:00am after a very long flight and the staff could not find our reservation... they somehow gave our room to someone else under my name eariler in the evening... so they made us stand around at 2am while they tried to figure what happened, instead of giving us a room and then figuring out how they messed up. It was very frustrating. Everything else was good at the hotel. Great location, good breakfast. Parking is very limited; only 10 spaces behind the building, so we had to park elsewhere & pay for it... That was disappointing since I booked this hotel because it offered free parking. They did not offer the VIP perk that expedia said would be available to us there...

This is a great hotel and the location cannot be beat. Bus stop 9 is right around the corner for tours and drop offs. Walkable to most areas. Lots of good restaurant selections in the area. The staff was great. The rooms are small but well appointed and have everything you need. It’s a great hotel and would recommend it

If I could give 4.5 stars, I would. This hotel was lovely and had a very good location. There was a bus stop right beside it where tours, airport transportation, etc. picked up and dropped off which was ideal. It wasn't a long walk to the harbour and very close to the shopping district. The hotel itself was well-organized, clean, and attractive. The room was small-ish - but not as small as central Manhattan. It was still well organized. I would have liked drawers, but I am not sure where we could have put our empty luggage then. The breakfast included was really good and offered a lot of options. We had appetizers and drinks at the restaurant one evening and everything was delicious and service was great. The hotel itself reminded me of an IKEA display (a very nice one). They stored our luggage before our return flight. When I had questions before our arrival the hotel staff replied promptly and to each question. I found the bed a little hard, but not too bad, but it was a good size and the pillows were perfect. The bathroom has a deep tub which was very appreciated after one 10-hour tour we took on a day that it poured rain for 3/4 of the day and there were almost gale-force winds.

Excellent location right in the city center with so many shops and restaurants nearby. However we weee assigned to a room on first floor, and the smell of the room was very bed, sewage smell, not very very strong, but it’s always there.
