Location literally puts you in the center of activity in Reykjavík. Great restaurants and wine bars right around the corner. Easy walk to waterfront — sights include Harpa. Room had a view of the water too. Included a filling breakfast to start the day. Very quiet and had a solid sleep even though there was busy nightlife and a bar across the street.

Great location. Pretty clean room. Room had at least 10 flies, and no climate control or a/c. Our party had another room that had excessive noise from bar across street. Bathroom was very small.

This hotel was clean, quiet and provided a good breakfast. Perfectly adequate for our needs, since we were interested in touring and sightseeing. We were especially impressed by the front desk staff who were friendly, helpful and knowledgable. They made us feel most welcomed and appreciated. Would definitely return.

Great location and hotel is nice. Rooms are a bit small and the shower is very small. Parking is also a challenge, but that's true for most of Reykjavik. Overall we had a great stay.

Hotel is in bad condition - No hot water
First night of my trip. The best thing about the hotel is its location and the friendly staff, but unfortunately, that is where it ends. From the 7 places I stayed at, here the breakfast was the worst, with the most basic of all offerings. But the worst part was the room, which is in dire need of updating. The shower is grimy, dirty and needs fixing. I had no hot water, because the valve to turn it past a certain point was broken. So I showered cold in the morning and told the hotel at checkout. Honestly, Center Hotels has a few properties in town - for example the Grandi, so stay there instead: it is night and day, while also being at a great location. Again, staff was amazing, location is great, but the place needs plenty of maintenance.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotels location was fabulous. The breakfast was basic. The noise around the hotel was extreme especially during the night. The karaoke from the surrounding places kept us awake on many nights.
