Good location, there’s where the positives end. We paid for two rooms for our family. Checked in and headed to the rooms, they were both absolutely vile and smelt of raw sewage.
Our bedroom had chewing gum on the floor in several places, mould up the walls in the bathroom, dirt, dust and a large build up of hair in the corners of the beds with empty sweet wrappers, on the bed sheet there was small curly hairs and crumbs/dirt.
Being pregnant, it was a room we wasn’t prepared to sleep in. My husband attempted to speak to reception who had broken English. They came and looked at the bedroom and agreed it didn’t smell pleasant, he was shown the dirt and gum etc and he then stated they would facilitate a refund the following Monday. However, we’ve not received it. I’ve also contacted hotels.com myself and they have given us a coupon for the value of one room. However, neither room was slept in and we went and spent £150 on two more rooms elsewhere.
