Excellent located Reading hotel
Single night stay for trip to Reading. Excellent location within sight of the railway station. Room was large and comfortable, and had both bath and shower. The only down part for me was that the TV channel list was not as extensive as I am used to in hotels.

Room had only one bedside/table light, with a dodgy connection. This was fine as a single occupant who didn't want to use the desk anyways. Half the USB sockets didn't work either. Power sockets all very inconveniently positioned. Definitely not what I was expecting, given reputation and price, I was disappointed.

A brilliantly located hotel!
Absolutely fantastic service from reception who were attentive and professional in my requests. 10/10! Hotel wise it’s your typical Malmaison dark chic and very contemporary. Location wise you couldn’t get any closer to the train station so for anyone needing to be close to the station please use this hotel!

Used to be much better. Seen better days. Rooms felt dirty, smelled of awful cleaning product. Fabric headboard stank and you can't really open the windows. Bar and restaurant are redeeming features, but won't be back anytime soon.
