*Breakfast" only mini, wrapped muffins, OJ or apple juice. *Elevator broken (looks like long time). *Stairs are outside building with lots of smoking. *Hall carpeting stained dark from traffic.
*Room toilet quit flushing. Clerk said would be fixed that day. 6pm, still broke. P.M. clerk had no info, maintenance gone, they'll fix next day. No offer of another room, so I said I needed another room. He said would have to be 3rd floor. Took 4 trips up stairs, 86° out (60 yr old short female). *No apology for inconvenience.
*Next room: all unpacked, discovered NO blow dryer (I called ahead, was told blow dryers in all rooms--not). *Floor had debris-wasn't swept. *Desk chair would not raise up--I needed to do desk work nightly. Called clerk, no more blow dryers. *I'll need to move again! *Finally someone who seemed like manager showed up, said they'd move me to a 1st floor room that had all I needed. (So one was open but clerk made me move to 3rd floor!?) I said not moving anymore, exhausted, have 3 hrs desk work to do. He said they'd move stuff for me. Packed again. (HE was trying to be accommodating.)
*Final room. Again chair would not raise up, they switched it. No stopper in sink with obvious large black "blob" of scum in hole housekeeping left there. *No offer to discount my bill for inconvenience. *I heard lots of guests daily at counter complaining, asking to talk to manager. (Positive: Price, parking). Gave 2 due to manager trying to help, otherwise would be a 1.
