Pros: quiet for first two nights of stay (last night of stay, renters in downstairs apartment hung out until late in the parking lot behind the buildings, talking and partying).
Close and convenient to downtown Durham.
Off street parking for part of the stay, street parking only after second night.
Easy check in process.
Cons: kitchen poorly equipped with minimal, old cooking utensils. No dishwasher, and just an old, gross sponge and brush provided for washing up.
For anyone taking a small child, be aware this is an upstairs unit with windows that open fully, no safety feature, and tables underneath, dangerous for a toddler.
Finally, terrible couch in living room, metal springs with barely any padding, super uncomfortable.
